Welcome to Heartwood. A charming, affordable cabin rentals for families to escape to the Great Smoky Mountains anytime of the year. This delightful cabin with wood floors and log walls blends rustic charm with cozy elegance. Tucked away in a peaceful woodland setting, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation after a long day of hiking, shopping or enjoying the area’s attractions.

The overall design of this all-log cabin creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. In the living area, large windows invite the outdoors in and a soaring high wood ceiling creates a sense of openness. The cozy, comfortable sitting area features a large stone gas fireplace, a beautiful antler chandelier and a large flat screen TV making this a perfect gathering place for quiet evenings by the fire enjoying good company or a good movie. This is what great vacations are made of.

Adjacent to the living room is a rustic farmhouse dining table just right for a hearty country breakfast or a casual barbecue dinner. The nearby kitchen is compact, yet generously and thoughtfully equipped with all kitchen cooking essentials. The seamless flow between the kitchen and dining area makes it easy to cook and serve meals while staying connected with family or friends.

A full bathroom with a tub/shower is also located on this level as well as a hallway that leads to the peaceful covered back porch. The porch is 1 of 4 different outdoor sitting areas perfect for sipping morning coffee or enjoying the fresh mountain air. Imagine relaxing with the family on a warm summer evening and enjoying some homemade ice cream and watching the fireflies blink morse code signals to one another. Don’t forget to bring your ice cream maker and the ingredients to make homemade ice cream. Food just tastes better in the Smokies.

Upstairs, a country loft bedroom combines rustic charm and open, air comfort. The bedroom features log walls, a high ceiling, exposed beams, and a beautiful queen log bed. In one corner of the loft, an antique chest of drawers supports a flat screen TV, and in the other corner, there is a comfortable chair for reading.

Downstairs, the large master bedroom with wood floors blends comfort with timeless charm. Centered around a wood and wrought iron king bed are an antique wood wardrobe and a vintage cupboard for storage. A comfortable wicker daybed creates a cozy nook for reading, watching a show or it can serve as a bed for an extra guest. A full bathroom with a standing shower and washer/dryer (in the closet) is attached.

Just outside the back door of the bedroom, a bubbling, private hot tub awaits to help you relax and unwind. A double porch swing next to it is a great spot to enjoy the quiet forest.

In the front yard, enjoy a friendly game of horseshoes for some outdoor fun while just steps away you cook your favorite foods on the large charcoal grill.

And if you are searching for 2 cabins next door to each for families and friend traveling together, look no further. The lovely cabin Bear Retreat is next door and is walking distance. It can be reserved as a 2- or 3-bedroom cabin for 4-8 people. The adjacent cabins are located in beautiful Wears Valley about 15 minutes from the heart of Pigeon Forge, Townsend and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Year-round fishing and seasonal pool access is available nearby. Hidden Treasure's has a membership for your use to the Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli located approximately 5 miles from the cabin. Fishing pole rentals are available onsite during the summer season.

Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $100.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
