  • Kom genieten van Getaway Mountain Lodge. Een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van die Smoky Mountain Views. Als je omhoog trekt, kun je kiezen uit een opstapentree of een hellingingang. Grote wrap around deck om naar het hoofdniveau te gaan. Het hoogste niveau biedt een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een woonkamer met gashaard en een 32 inch flatscreen en een eetkamer. De woonkamer, keuken en eetkamer is een open plattegrond met veel ramen om te genieten van het uitzicht op de bergen. Er is ook 2 slaapkamers waarvan een genaamd The Big Buck biedt een kingsize bed met complete badkamer en bubbelbad. De andere is de Bear Den biedt een kingsize bed met badkamer en bubbelbad. De benedenverdieping beschikt over twee slaapkamers. De ene heet The Mallard's Nest heeft twee queensize bedden terwijl de andere Fishing Nest een kingsize bed, een badkamer en een bubbelbad biedt. De Game Room biedt 40 inch tv, airhockey tafel, pooltafel en een stapelbed. Getaway Mountain Lodge heeft zoveel te genieten. Het biedt zelfs een wasmachine en droger en gratis internettoegang. Het zal slapen tot 14 voor uw uitje met het gezin. Slechts ongeveer 2 mijl van de hut is een buitenzwembad en een visgebied waar u toegang toe heeft en een Getaway Mountain Lodge-gast. Deze hut is niet roken en geen huisdieren alstublieft.

The host were welcoming and the cabin was in good condition. It was clean and spacious! The views were amazing! Parking was great, not on an incline. This cabin is great for everyone, kids, adults, and seniors!

Getaway Mountain Lodge

Perfect place to stay for our family and friends. Had 10 people with plenty of beds and room to play! Even had a bear visitor within hours of arrival.

Loved it!!

This cabin was perfect for me and the kids and grandkids to stay a long weekend. Plenty for the kids to do, lots of room & space for everyone! Cabin was clean. Road to the cabin is very curvy and steep but views are amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved it here! It’s so spacious, and there was plenty of room and bathrooms to accommodate all 12 of us. The view is beautiful! The only issue we ran into was the floors were a little dirty when we got there, and there were no extra trash bags or dishwasher pods left for us to use. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway.

We hope to get to come back to Lodge next year. Lots of room in the cabin to play games, sleep, or watch a game on TV or a movie. Wow ! what a view of the whole valley. Access to a big outdoor pool was a big hit for our family. Little high on price for us but it is a big cabin.

We had a large family group that gathered for a local wedding. The location and space was perfect, but the dishwasher was broken until our last day and the sofa beds were unusable. One was broken and one was covered in mouse feces.

HUGE CABIN WITH GREAT VIEW

FOLLOW DRIVING DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE OFFICE!!!The layout of this cabin is perfect! Lots of space! Kids had plenty to keep them occupied. Air hockey, foose ball, pool table, and Pac-Man. The deck is huge with unblocked view of the mountains. Plenty of parking space for our three cars.We are from Flat Louisiana so our first attempt up to the cabin was a a little nerve wracking since we wasn’t sure what to expect but after that we got use to it.

Nice House

The only issue we had was the hot tub didn’t have any lights and it was very dark in the corner. With bears in the area it was a little scary. We had seen a bear earlier. And the tub did not get that hot either. But the rest of the stay was nice. The road is very narrow and you go up sharp in a few areas.

Beautiful cabin and scenery

Great place!! Got to see a bear on the deck and around the cabin and it was wonderful experience!! Only thing was there wasn’t much service for internet and I’m being charged for a broken rocking chair that was on the ground over the deck when we arrived there!!The chair was there when we got there and I wasn’t able to call them to let them know about it. But that should have been seen before we arrived there by whoever checks the place out!!

The view was amazing.

Perhaps the best view we’ve ever had. We enjoyed our stay very much. 3 king bedrooms and a room with 2 queens, each with its own bath, plus a half bath were just what we needed. We enjoyed the porches, the basement with several games, the hot tub. We were able to cook and have many meals around the large dining table with plenty of chairs, Believe the bear caution. We left 3 empty coolers on the deck and each had tooth and claw marks on them.Take Fireside’s advice and use the Line Springs road entrance to the area. We tried using the GPS directions, leaving Wears Valley Rd at Manis Rd. It has several VERY sharp turns and is hard to drive. Fireside people were great to work with. We had a wonderful time in this cabin.

Vacay 2024

It was an amazing house with so much room. Definitely great for a family reunion! There’s with everything you need in the way of dishes, pots & pans & appliances. Loved the hot tub, amazing views including a mama bear with her cubs & there was a lot of outside & inside seating to accommodate the 11 of us. We had an issue with the fridge & the mgmt was ‘on it’. They gave us a loaner that afternoon & later replaced it when the new fridge was available. The pool is not on the property. It’s a public pool about 4 miles away along with a fishing pond, that as a renter of the house you can access to.

Expect more than this

Home was not clean , really dusty . All 3 games (fuse-ball, billiard, air-hockey) was broken . Hot tub was stink so bad , no one can even be next to it after we open cover . My son have big wound on foot after hitting sticking out nail on balcony .Spindles on railing was falling apart, small children can easily fall thru hole . I expect a lot more . Good home but poor management. Great view :)

Overall Great Property

The property is in a very quiet and beautiful location. We quickly learned there is a "hard" way up (Manis Road) - it was scary. Once we learned the "easier" route it was less nerve racking to leave the cabin. We did have one hiccup on the first morning there. We woke up to notice mice were on the counter and ate through some food. There were mouse droppings on the counter. The drawer under the oven was also covered in mice droppings - it was all over the dishes in there. That was unfortunate. We avoided using those dishes. Downstairs was a fan favorite for our kids.

Beautiful cabin but many issues

This is a beautiful cabin and accommodates a large group easily however I feel the need to share some issues we had. There were many broken chairs and barstools almost as many broken as weren’t broken. The dishwasher didn’t work. The light in the hot tub was out so it was completely dark in the hot tub. All carpeted areas were pretty dirty. We had a crawler (baby) but carried her most of the time. The main issue was that on the day before we left we were stuck at the cabin with a septic that backed up into the showers toilets and sinks. We spent most of our day at the cabin unable to use the restrooms or showers and when we asked for another night as compensation we were told no. A hotel room would have sufficed since we essentially lost a day of vacation. Be sure to check everything when you arrive and report it immediately. There were so many issues we just didn’t. But again it is a beautiful cabin.

Couples get away

The cabin was spacious and clean. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The roads to the Cabin are very steep and did give some trouble due to rain and fog but it didn't affect our stay. We will be staying with fireside chalets again!
