« We visited Blue Hill and Acadia with two families. We needed a place that was suitable for six kids and four adults. This place was far better than we could have even imagined. It was a clean and historical property that has been thoughtfully renovated. The grassy area in the front is perfect for yard games and relaxation. The owners were extremely thoughtful and considerate. They even prepared a fire and welcomed us with s'mores supplies and other local treats. We will be returning! »

« Mary's house makes simplicity feel luxurious. It is charming and has the conveniences that make a stay a vacation: location to Deer Isle, parking, laundry, screened-in side porch and outdoor deck on the property, a/c. The art, books, and quick communication are great pluses. This is the place i've been hoping to find! »

The central location on the mid-coast of Maine made for some great day trips to Acadia National Park and Boothbay Botanical Gardens as well as dinner in Camden and Belfast. « My wife, our 5 kids, and I stayed at Alex’s place in August 2024. What a wonderful stay. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of Mt. Battie from the back decks and a very short jaunt into Camden. We used the house as our landing spot to explore the region. The house was exactly as described.
