Great location & beautiful house

Except for the dishwasher and washroom locks not working, everything is perfect with this house. It’s in an excellent location, and I will visit again.

the property is at the front of another property, there is only one driveway which makes things awkward. there is no off street parking and a steep climb to the door.

House is split into 2 with an upstairs and downstairs. You can not access downstairs from inside of the house you must go outside. Which was fine having older children. Upstairs was fairly clean, downstairs theatre room was very dusty and a/c dirty and mouldy and didn't work well, it kept cutting out after a couple of minutes. Bed linen wasn't that clean either which was disappointing. Downstairs fans didn't work either. Also you can not park in the drive way only to load and unload the car then you must park on the rd as someone lives in the house behind and is a shared drive way which was fine for us someone with infants would find difficult because of the steep drive way.I personally would have preferred curtains or blinds for both sliding doors upstairs and down stairs, with the sunlight coming in and can get a little hot.Location was beautiful right in front of little beach. It was a perfect.Very basic supplies were available. We all had a great stay in Gaagal lookout Scotts head beautiful little coastal town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a wonderful holiday at the property, which was spacious, beautiful, had stunning views and a great layout. Clean, comfortable beds and couches. Convenient to everything with a short walk. Frequent visits (and songs) from the local bird life!I would say the only negatives were related to conflicting photos on the website I booked through, as there were current and prior to renovation photos, so it was difficult to understand what to expect on arrival (but this has since been rectified). Also I booked the whole house and found on arrival, that they were separate, so you had to go outside to access the 1 bedroom apartment from the main house. Not a huge issue for me, but could be problematic for families.I'd go back for sure!

Cleanliness was definitely not up to standard, however, and we needed to purchase our own basic supplies in town (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, washing up liquid, loo roll etc)

Reviewer Comments: Location was great, right next to the beach with an amazing view ButHouses general cleanliness was not up to par with the prices charged, neither was the bedding/linen etc, loungeroom AC mouldy, need to clean under furniture (which no one seems to do?), lolly wrappers and lollipo sticks in kids, half bag of lollies (opened) on top of kitchen cupboardNo actual place to park aside from the street without blocking neighbours behind was annoying for daily trips etcThe fact the upper and lower parts of the house aren't actually joined, as in you need to walk up the drive to get between the two (sold to us as a 3 bedroom, yet it was a 2 bed upper and a separated 1 bed lower) which meant with a 6 month old and a 3 year old we could only use the top and not sleep downstairs as intended
