'This is a great hotel, convenient location for touring Nova Scotia and quite comfortable. We had an odd room, however. There was a wall three feet outside our window, so no view. And the floor was quite uneven. Aside from these two things, the room and hotel were great. Good breakfast but we don't recommend the restaurant for dinner. Poor quality food there - chowder was old and way too salty, and the staff acknowledged that others had complained but they sold it anyhow. Ugh. '

'This is an old, tired hotel in need of renovation. Also the late shift staff is anything but helpful. For one, this hotel has no lift which is a pain if you arrive with heavy luggage, and the evening staff decides to give you a second floor room, and subsequently doesn't offer to help you carry the heavy luggage upstairs. Then, for a multiple night stay, the staff only activated my keys for one night and then blamed 'some technical failure'. They don't take responsibility, they offer no...

'The property is dated but it is being kept immaculate. There is a restaurant on site which is very good for breakfast. The bus stops across the street and is a direct route to the harbour front.'
