'Overall the stay was good, but there were some issues. I paid for a specific blow dryer for the trip and they told me last minute it was given to another customer. Also, the air conditioning temperature is locked and the apartment did not cool down so it was very uncomfortable sleeping. Lastly, the shower is so small you can barely move in it. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it was decent and the host communicated quickly.'

'This place was a nightmare to stay at. The power constantly goes out all the time, even when there is nothing plugged into any of the outlets and the washing machine is the only thing being used. 'I rarely write reviews but could not in good conscience not write one this time. There was only one issue with this property but it involved the daily HEALTH and SAFETY of our family. In the morning after our first night at the property my husband and I both noticed a gas type smell. Although we left early that morning for a pre-arranged day trip out of Florence I sent a text to the property about our concerns, stating that we had smelled what seemed to be a gas smell and were quite concerned....

'Il Rivalta – Place of Charm is a clean and well maintained property in an excellent central location. The room was comfortable and nicely designed, and the surrounding area is full of character and within walking distance of Florence’s main attractions. While it wasn’t completely quiet at times, the overall experience was very pleasant. A great place to stay in Florence.'
