'Clean elegant room'

'Staff at front desk were great. Hotel clean. Only issue was wirh breakfast that we paid for, it was a good, however the staff that morning could have been more attentive it was a full house with a girls hockey team when we arived for breakfast at 830am they were out of alot of the food and not able to replace it quickly and had issues with getting our coffee brought to us. '

'Great place to stay. Everything the way it should be. If in Elgin area, no better place for the price.'

'The staff were nice. I had an overall good experience, the only thing is that they just give you sheets and not actual blankets or duvets so i advise you bring your own blankets if you do book here. It's really not bad for a quick stay though.'

'Hotel was not bad, room was clean. However, when we got to the hotel there were not lights on the outside everything was dark. And we have to wait until someone comes to open the door for us. '

'I would say the only thing i enjoyed was the front desk gentleman that helped me out but other than that i wouldnt come back honestly. It was dirty and our toilet wasnt working.'

'The policy to pay $15 per day to park your car in oversized parking lot in the middle of some vast emptiness seems like an extortion. You can't walk to the hotel so you have no choice but to drive. I pay less money to park in the city. This event has caused me too reconsider booking with Marriott again. The sliding closet door fell off the rail and there was a little mold on the shower curtain.'

'Sheets were worn, not sure the pillow cases were changed, and the hotel did not receive the Expedia reservation so I had to pay out of pocket and now have to get a refund from Expedia. Hotel staff were nice but could not solve the reservation problem.'

'Service without a smile. No greeting whatsoever. Room was dirty and run down. Smelled like an old house. Sticky dust on the wire shelves. Outside of fridge not cleaned well. Countertops dirty, drops of stuff dried on it. Artwork in bathroom ripped. Laminate on the end tables torn. We had to use our disinfectant wipes to clean EVERY surface area just in case. Did not feel clean staying here. I told my husband that we should just leave and get another place but he was tired from driving and said...

'Be careful when booking this hotel. As per Wyndham’s policy, they only do a full room cleaning every 3 days. During our stay, we had to repeatedly request extra cleanings, but these were not always done — and when they were, the quality was disappointing. The biggest concern was cleanliness. Our baby found a medication tablet behind the bed and put it in her mouth. Thankfully, we noticed it right away and were able to remove it before anything serious happened. This was a very alarming...

'This is a new hotel that is probably trying to reach its sweet spot. It was understaffed (IMHO) and not really fully equipped. They try to tout themselves as "Green" but do not provide containers for recycling cans, glass, paper, etc. Why in the world water glasses are not provided in the rooms I simply could not comprehend. We were told to go downstairs and pick up some paper coffee cups or, if the morning breakfast site was open, we could get plastic. Really? Just how cheap can you be? ...

'The property was nice and clean but I had a terrible experience with Expedia because they cancel my booking without notice me and I discover it at the moment when I arrive to the hotel despite my app shows that my reservation was confirmed. Once I try to solve that issue with Expedia, they didn't try to explain to people of the hotel that my reservation was active and make something to give me the room that I previously reserve, the just made me a refund of the initial price but I was already at...
