'It’s a beautiful hotel with old time charm at first glance but once you get in to the rooms it is very modern and clean, tastefully designed. During our stay it was raining and just sitting in the room and opening up the large glass doors and watching the charming courtyard made our stay much more enjoyable. At night there is a courtyard which is open to public and they serve great food and drinks and even if you’re not staying at the hotel you can still enjoy the outdoor sitting and drinks....

'Staff was friendly and helpful. Mostly what stood out for me was the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. The owners have kept up the ambiance of the beautiful building and interior with gorgeous period paintings, moldings and woodwork. I spent considerable time just meandering through the main halls, in awe of all the beauty. Not only is the inside amazing, but there is a gorgeous courtyard and pool outside. Anyone interested in staying amongst gorgeous surroundings should surely...

'Leuk, intiem hotel. Goed verzorgd en nette ruime kamer. Super service en op korte loopafstand van de beroemde Venice Beach boardwalk. Wij hebben hier 3 nachten verbleven. Goede uitvalsbasis voor heel LA.'

'Enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. The staff was extremely helpful from parking my car to delivering my luggage on my arrival and departure. Dinner and drinks were tasty. Would definitely stay there again '

'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'Prima locatie als je naar Universal Studio's wilt. Dat is op 10 minuten lopen (als je de Shuttle Bus van Universal pakt bij de metro, anders 25 minuten lopen). Verder is er weinig te doen in de buurt. '
