Family friendly neighborhood but close enough to all the action of the Castro and Mission District. A terrific park for little kids is just across the street - it has a toddler-sized playground, plus big flat areas for riding bikes or kicking balls. A bigger park, with bigger play structure, is a couple blocks up the hill. Both parks have tennis and basketball courts.

A few more blocks away is Glen Canyon, a terrific wild area with rocks to climb, trails to explore, and maybe even a glimpse of SF wildlife!

Walk down 24th Street one block to the start of wonderful Noe Valley, chock-full of family-friendly restaurants, shops, a Whole Foods supermarket, and more. Or, head up to Diamond Heights where you'll find Safeway, a popular Dim Sum restaurant, and more.

The Muni 35 bus stops across the street. The 48 bus stop is one block away, and the 24 bus is two blocks away. J Church train is about 5 blocks away. The 24th St BART station is ~12 blocks away on the 48 bus line - or have a nice walk from there through Noe Valley. Similar distance to Castro and Market, where you find MUNI train lines K, L, and M.

Close to the hip Mission district and Castro neighborhoods, but far enough away that the neighborhood is quite, safe, and clean!
