This is a newly remodeled single bedroom apartment located above DVO Surf Shop.
Enjoy all Hatteras Island has to offer from this cozy apartment.
This unit comes with a complete recreation package from DVO. DVO is a full service recreational rental business and Surf Shop. You may check out any piece of rental equipment at any time during business hours you are staying as our guests compliments of the house We offer bikes, kayaks, surfboards, beach equipment, stand up paddle boards, bodyboards, and much more.
Equipment can be reserved in advance or you may come downstairs and check out equipment during regular business hours.
When you are finished using the equipment, you may try something else. (Ex.- go for a bike ride in the morning then turn the bikes in after your morning bike ride then check out one or two stand up paddle boards for an afternoon paddle on the sound.)
You may also reserve equipment in advance. (Ex.- book two bikes on Monday, book two surfboards on Tuesday, book two paddle parts on Wednesday, etc…)
The first item of non- electric rental equipment if you are staying 3 days or two items if you are staying a week or more is included at no charge. If you have up to 4 travelers, you may book additional items of any equipment at 20 percent off .
We do occasionally run out of equipment during peak summer weeks so reserving the equipment in advance is recommended but not necessary. Visit mydvo.com to see everything available. Please use the owner/ guest portal to reserve your equipment.
The unit also offers a washer/dryer that is shared between the 3 rental on this property. There is WiFi snd two smart TV’s as well. We are a five minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the sound as well.
Only one pet allowed for a $25 per day pet fee. Please contact the host prior to booking to bring in more than one pet. Linens and towels are not included in the base rate. You may rent linens for $20 and towels for $17 for your entire stay or bring your own for the bedroom , futon and bathroom . Also you have the option to get in as early as possible but guaranteed entry by 1 P.M. Check In Time to avoid the standard 4P.M. Check In Time for a $50 FEE. Please specify upon booking if you have a pet or pets and would like to rent linen packages, also let us know if you would like to take advantage of our Early Check In Option -
