The property is beautiful, but needs major upgrading. the bathroom walls and ceiling was full of mold and hazardous for your health. They can bring more tourist if they cater to high-end tourist by up grading their facility.

Absolutely beautiful location with great walking access to the nearby National Park. Food is good and staff is great. Views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing.

Me parece que para ser un hotel ecologico no es necesario que falten asuntos basicos como no agua caliente! No cortinas en parte de la habitación y las que tiene no poseen blackout lo que hace que el sol te despierte desde que sale! Las toallas parecen trapos de piso! Falta privacidad en las habitaciones ya que en el caso de nuestra habitación la puerta de la habitación contigua esta abierta arriba y los ruidos... se escuchan bastante.. esos detalles deben coregirlo para que este maravilloso lugar este mas completo...

I did like the property a lot, the road to get there wasn’t the best, and I did get food poisoning but I still managed to enjoy the time there. The pool area was so nice.

Realmente muy decepcionado; de este hotel , pague por una habitación, con vista a la bahía , nuca me dieron mi habitación, cambiaron de cuarto , realmente , estaban fumigando y limpiando y me llevaron a otra habitación que no fue por lo que pague .

Lo unico bueno que tiene es la naturaleza. Pero en cuanto al personal horrible trato,las sábanas y habitaciones sucias llenas de insectos. Fue una pesadilla mis niños no pudieron dormir con la cama llena de insectos y muy mal trato de los empleados

Para comensal. No llegue a ir al hotel puesto que me contagie con Covid . Trate de comunicarme con el hotel sin resultado. Expedía tampoco se pudo comunicar y perdí mi dinero.aun que había pagado por un seguro. Parece que no hay un personal que atienda el teléfono.

Unterkunft ist über eine Schotterpiste in ungefähr 20 Minuten von Sabana aus zu ereichen.Ein Allrad ist nicht notwendig. Sehr schöne Anlage. Auch die Pools sind wirklich super. Bei der Tourbuchung war die Rezeption nicht wirklich hlifreich. Tour am besten vorab, beim Führer vom Hotel "Wilfred 1 809 694 9980" buchen. Die Touren sind wirklich sehr gut. Wilfred antwortet gerne auf WhatsApp. Er spicht super gut englisch.Frühstück war sehr gut. Accommodation can be reached via a gravel road in about 20 minutes from Sabana.a four-wheel drive is not necessary. Very nice facility. Also the pools are really great. When booking the tour, the reception was not really hlifreich. Tour best to book in advance, with the guide from the hotel "Wilfred 1 809 694 9980". The tours are really very good. Wilfred is happy to answer WhatsApp. He speaks super good English. Breakfast was very good.

Little piece of paradise
What a wonderful place. Very rustic but stylish design. Comfortable beds, beautiful view from the balcony and loved the idea of a hammock in the room for chilling out. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All staff were friendly and keen to help. The natural swimming pools were very unique and a great way to spend a few hours chilling out between hikes or kayaking nearby. Only negative is be prepared for a terrible road for the last 7km of driving to get there!

This eco lodge isn’t very eco or a lodge. It’s more of a resort located away from the town and anything around. You are completely dependent on the resort for everything, food, water, transportation and excursions all must be done through the resort and no one else. You feel trapped. Food was not very good and very limited selection, they run out a lot of the menu items. Was really looking forward to staying here and left one night early very disappointed. And no, they did not refund my last night nor did Expedia do anything to help. Would not stay again.

This is a place to come and be at peace with nature. It is a two compound hotel, each run by a different administration (Paraiso vs. Alto), but share the 13 natural pools between them. There are no hotels, houses, buildings or any other construction around so you can really hear the crickets at night and see all the stars in the sky. Fridays and Saturdays they have a fire gathering that really allows you to enjoy a serine and wonderful peaceful time. There are only one restaurant per compound, and they have lots of times buffets which is not to my linking, but Altos allows you to choose a la carte also :-) The a la carte food is good and very reasonable pricing. I wouldn't take the all inclusive meals because you might decide to go on several excursions and eat else where, and I think it is just cheaper to pay at the end for what you really consume. For example, a package for me and my kid was USD208 just for the 3-day stay, but with meals, it was going to be USD510 but doing it by meal, it was USD324. We didn't eat all meals and sometimes when we did, we shared a plate or two. We met wonderful people from the first day and decided to eat together often and spent time in the excursions and pools. It was really a nice, one-with-nature time well spent. There are no thrills like live entertainment or a disco or anything like that. So if that is what you are looking for, this place is not for you. But you do have lots of wonderful ways to spend your time!

The pictures are accurate, this property is beautiful. It’s worth staying one night just to get the pictures and spend time in the natural pools. The place SEEMS natural and “ecofriendly” cause it’s all natural materials and no wifi or tv but they never really educate you on what makes it eco-friendly. The first day they give you a schedule for the restaurant (and there’s nothing NADA around so you have no choice), then they proceed to not follow the schedule at all and never inform you of any changes. Very confusing. The restaurant food tastes horrible, but as I said there’s NOTHING nearby. And they just keep adding things to your tab but never telling you the cost so on the last day you’re shocked. Lastly, this place is great for ADULTS but definitely challenging with little kids.
