Cove Creek Preserve Hilltop Home

Brand new 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house located in a 30 acre preserve with 2 miles of well-marked hiking trails and 3,000 feet of frontage on beautiful Cove Creek. Enjoy expansive views of the mountains in winter and lush forests in summer from the decks off the kitchen and master bedroom. The hilltop house is surrounded by silent, pristine forests that slope down to the Creek. The trails lead throughout the preserve, sometimes on wide, grassy lanes and sometimes narrow paths that follow the creek. The creek is wide and shallow with a sandy bottom that's perfect for wading, swimming, and fishing.

Sleeping accommodations include a queen-sized bed in each of the 2 bedrooms. The third bedroom is a loft with a pull-out trundle bed that sleeps 2. The loft also serves as the TV room.  The majestic beamed ceilings and all wood interior of the house provide the feel of a rustic western hunting lodge. Property is very quiet but less than 15 minutes from Lake Lure with its restaurants, grocery store, and recreational opportunities.   Amenities include fully functional kitchen, laundry room, wood stove, and outdoor space for campfires. Because the house was recently completed, outdoor landscaping is still in progress. Our cozy two-bedroom cabin is located 100 yards away and is also available to rent if accommodations for larger groups are desired (see Cove Creek Cabin and Preserve).
