'The staff was very friendly and more attentive than any other hotel I have ever stayed at. The lodge itself is very outdated the price was high but so are all the other ones in the area.'

'Lovely and large room with king bed and a fire place. Ensuite was also large. They also put hot water bottles in our bed at turn down - such a lovely gesture. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Food good and fresh too. We also saw a Golden Monkey there too. Nb. Worth noting that the laundry service doesn’t include ironing/pressing.'

'Wonderfull place at Lake Kivu. Great view. Possibility for boat tours or kayaking on the lake. Nice staff. Small rooms with nice balcony.'

'I can’t wait to come back! Absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing, especially Chantel. The accommodations were wonderful, the outdoor hot shower, the views from the room, how spacious it was! I can’t say enough good things about this place. '

'Lodge merveilleusement situé à la pointe de la presqu’île. Route très difficile. Venir en bateau depuis la côte nord. Accueil parfait. Personnel chaleureux et prévenant. Promenades à pieds ou en bateau.'

'Etablissement avec très grandes chambres et des lits immenses avec moustiquaires. Le restaurant est également de qualité, avec des petits-déjeuners copieux. Le personnel est disponible et professionnel. La vue est superbe. Le seul point noir : le bruit, vu que l'hôtel est situé à proximité de la route. Il faut très difficile de trouver le sommeil à cause des camions qui circulaient à proximité.'

'Het hotel is ruim opgezet, het personeel vriendelijk. Ontvangst met gemberthee. Het hotel was schoon, de kamers ruim. sAvonds werd de haard in onze kamer aangestoken. Voor onze safari naar de Golden Monkeys was het een heel goede locatie, ook voor de Gorilla safari in Rwanda is het een goede plek. Het eten was uitgebreid , maar de kwaliteit viel een beetje tegen. '

"Mooie nette studio. Ontbijt is goed. Doch veel te warm, er is geen airco maar ook geen ventilate. Wij hadden een studio aan de achterkant. Als je het raam open doet hadden we enorm veel last van de heel erg drukke straat met continue verkeer. Oordoppen zijn absoluut noodzakelijk "
