Geweldige locatie. Alle hotspots op loop afstand. Super vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt met prachtig uitzicht. Leuke kamer (3 persoons). Kleine badkamer maar kamer/gebouw laat niet anders toe. Heel schoon. Je hoort niets van gasten in andere kamers. Alleen van het fontijn tot diep in de nacht geluiden, zingen, roepen. Zodoende Oordoppen gewenst.

Fantastische locatie.
Fantastische locatie. De eerste 2 nachten keken wij uit op een steeg. Maar laatste 2 nachten kregen wij een kamer met uitzicht op de Trevi fontein. De douche-faciliteiten zijn wel extreem klein in beide kamers. Erg vriendelijk personeel. De ontbijtzaal kijkt vanuit de 3de verdieping ook uit op de Fontein.

Echt een fantastisch hotel tegenover de Trevi fontein! Mooie sfeervolle kamer, prachtig ontbijt- zaaltje, goede service! Ja de badkamer was klein, maar goed te doen! De locatie is ongelooflijk!!!

Hotel Fontana in Rome
Heb dit hotel gekozen vanwege uitzicht op de Trevifontein. Heb na boeking in januari erachteraan gebeld om zeker te zijn van kamer met uitzicht, heb op dag vertrek nog gebeld: alles was ok! Bij aankomst bleek dat we wel konden genieten van het geluid van de Trevi en ook de mensen die de Trevi tot ver voorbij middernacht bezoeken, maar geen uitzicht, want de gevel werd gerestaureerd.! Het uitzicht is overigens de enige reden om dit hotel te boeken en men zei dat de restauratie tot september duurt. Het ontbijt is summier met erg on-italiaanse koffie. De kamers zijn zeer klein en de badkamers uiterst klein en wat achterstallig. onderhoud. Zonder uitzicht is dit hotel echt te duur voor wat het biedt.Vooruit toch nog een pluspuntje: de zeer centrale ligging.

hotel FONTANA schitterend gelegen tegenover Trevifontein
goed en vriendelijke personeel erg behulpzaam, nette kamer, alleen erg gehorig, vloer kraakte en veel last s nachts van mensen buiten, maar dit is logisch voor een 13e eeuws klooster hartje rome, gewoon oordopjes in, ontbijt was erg goed en uitgebreid, met vooral het uitzicht op trevi fontein wij hadden geluk dat wij iedere ochtend aan de tafel bij het raam konden ontbijten, 1 knorrige serveerster, maar je kan niet alles hebben, heerlijke dagen gehad.

Hotel Fontana
Leuk hotel in het centrum van Rome en direct gelegen aan het (drukke) plein met de bekende Trevi Fontein. Kamer die wij hadden was klein, eenvoudig maar wel netjes en iedere dag schoonmaak en schone handdoeken en bedlinnen. Ontbijt was redelijk uitgebreid en ontzettend lekker en alles vers. Bovendien met fantastisch zicht op de fontein. Ideaal plekje om in een paar dagen Rome te verkennen!

This hotel is amazing value. You’re in the heart of it all with a great view of the Trevi Fountain. Awesome and cute breakfast on the rooftop and the front desk is extremely helpful. Clean and safe place to stay!

Great area. Everything close by, easy to walk to. The room smelled of sewage, which I did not know can actually make you physically sick until it did. Unfortunately they were fully booked so I could not get another room. Not sure if the smell was every room due to the very old age of the hotel, or just my room.

Unfortunately this hotel is not a pleasant experience. I understand the history behind Rome maintaining its original structures but this hotel is just unbearable. Everything about it is just wrong, provides for a very pleasant experience. The lobby smells terrible to begin with so as soon as you enter that terrible smell hits you every time. The hallways are very dark and moldy. The beds are just incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress is so hard you can’t sleep. The bathrooms are all outdated, it’s kind of disgusting to even shower. The sinks are broken and you can see the plumbing all messed up and rotten. The housekeeping is terrible, bathroom is gross, I mean I just feel terrible about all I’m saying but it’s the unfortunate true. I will give this hotel two positive things, the location is excellent, unbeatable really. You can walk to many landmarks from the hotel. The second is, the front desk at midnight-Guido. He was wonderful, went above and beyond to give us tips on places to go and waited for us every night to make sure we made it back safe and sound. The other night attendants couldn’t even manage to give us a wake up call. If you want a mediocre hotel that will ruin your vacation in Rome, then stay here. Other wise, do yourself a favor and chose another hotel.

The location is right in front of the Trevi Fountain. Beautiful view from the roof top at breakfast and for drink’s overlooking the fountain. But … old and not so good if you’re a large person. Make sure you look at the room size and bathroom size.

This hotel is steps away from the Trevi Fountain, in Piaza de Trevi.You could not ask for a better location. Everything in the old city is walkable. The staff are freindly and very helpful And the breakfast on the top floor with a view of the fountain is an excellent way to start the day!

Very over crowded and loud outside. Hard to get in and out of the hotel and immediate area. Rooms were not in great shape, shower was dirty, had to ask for toilet paper and other basic stuff. Great access to dining, shops, and Trevi Fountain.

The staff was fantastic, attentive and accommodating. Being across from the Trevi fountain is good and bad. There were crowds at all times, which made getting in and out interesting. But walking out of the hotel and having the fountain as your view is wonderful. The street / crowd noise at night was somewhat frustrating, but that’s to be expected.

La vista es increíble. Perooo toma en cuenta que por eso mismo, podrás escuchar todoooo lo de la calle (incluyendo altas horas de la noche y adolescentes borrachos en la madrugada en la fuente). Si estas dispuesto a tolerar eso (como yo), es perfecto. El desayuno es basico pero muy rico y todo el personal es sumamente amable. Nos ayudaron con dudas y lugares, así como la solicitud del taxi y resguardo de maletas al salir. Por supuesto que volvería, la ubicación es perfecta así como el personal

Our view was incredible and we were able to check in early which was very nice. Upon arrival, the men at the front desk insisted on holding onto our passports for 15 minutes while we checked in, which was VERY strange. The bathroom had black mold all over and the hand held shower had mildew inside of it. We decided to get a different hotel for the rest of our trip after only being there for a few hours.

We stayed here for 8 nights. As soon as we walked through the front door we were welcomed with a smile and helping hands. The staff were amazing! Helpful beyond what I have ever experienced in any other hotel. They were one of the highlights of our Italy trip. That aside the only con to the area around the hotel is the enormous crowds at the Trevi fountain and the noise they would make all night, but please keep in mind this is out of the control of the hotel! Even though we could hear people all night we would most definitely stay there again. It is located in such a romantic spot where you can open your window and have the Trevi Fountain all to yourself from your room. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and evening drinks facing the fountain was gorgeous. The area around the hotel is safe and you can walk around at any hour of the day or night without concern. I have to conclude with this. To the staff at Hotel Fontana, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Hotel Fontana was amazing! I could not have asked for a better view! The staff, especially Camilla, were so nice and helpful! Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is an older Building, my room was next to the guest bathroom and I could hear everytime someone used that bathroom. Also, I could not sleep because it smelled like sewage. The Staff was super friendly and nice, I liked the small detail of them giving us a coin to toss into the Trevi Fountain, that was a great touch. The Hotel is in a super convenient location with tons of dining and shopping options, We loved just sitting by the fountain at night and people watch, it was fun staying there.

Estupendo, amables, limpios.
Encantada 😍. Desde que llegué me dieron buena señal porque fueron muy amables al recibirme, una terraza con una vista hermosa, todos muy amables. En cuanto a la ubicación está estupenda, pude ir a varios lugares cercanos en la noches, en cuanto a limpieza y la habitación excelente 😍👍 muy limpio todo blanco como me gusta, habitación acogedora para mí solita con todo lo necesario. Descanse muy bien. El desayuno ni se diga, rompí la dieta con todo lo delicioso que sirven, ya recomendé el lugar a otras amigas. Espero algún día volver a Roma y sin duda me quedaré en este hotel.

Loved our stay
The view is amazing. It’s an older hotel which used to be a monastery if I’m not mistaken. A lot of history. I think I heard about 20+ wedding proposals a day. It’s quite loud and you can hear outside, which we didn’t mind. The location is a hot spot of activity with tons of food within walking distance. Take a lime scooter to see the site’s. Breakfast was perfect, I need to know what coffee grounds they use for their americano. I’m obsessed!!!

I liked the location and the fact that I could see the Trevi fountain from my window. The hotel is ubicated in front of the fountain. After a few nights the noise when you open the room window begins to bore you. Because every day there are crowds all day till late at night. So if you are looking for a quiet room, this is probably not it. But if ypu don't mind the noise outside and the busy area, then it is perfect. There are several other landmarks within walking distance from the hotel. If you want to take pictures without crowds, you have to get up very early and take them before the crowds start again.
