« People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. »

« This place is unbelievable. If you are looking for a relaxing, quaint, quiet and romantic weekend with your other half, this is it. Nestled in the countryside near Staunton on an actual working farm, this B&B hits all the requirements. Close to Staunton and many wineries.The owner, Bill, is a fantastic host and Amanda, and her dog Layla, are awesome.We had an excellent time and stayed in the Swoope suite with a hand-hammered copper tub and fireplace. « We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...
