« Liz and Glenn operate an amazing property, they are extremely helpful and accommodating hosts, their breakfasts are outstanding, our room was very clean and comfortable. Herriots is superbly located in the town of Hawes, which itself has plenty of food and beverage outlets as well as being well positioned to access all that the Dales has to offer. »

« Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc.
Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc.
Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold.
Bed was clean, very comfortable...

« Nice location and staff. Food was on schedule and good. Comfortable bed and rooms. Parking was limited, but that’s an issue all over UK. We would stay there again. »

« Excellent stay. Lovely warm welcome. Everywhere clean and and well equipped. The breakfast is cooked to order. So tasty, excellent choice and very filling.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Shops and restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops 2 minutes walk away.
Free parking at the hotel. »
