'Amazing place if you are looking for quiet and relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. Santa Elena is close to Medellin if you want to have a city experience. (45 min due to country roads) Hosts are very nice and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, tradicional, “paisa” style.'

'This place is great- friendly owners and very helpful staff- even the maid went above and beyond when I was stricken with sickness- highly rated- non touristy medellin neighborhood but totally safe and surrounded with good food and next to a hospital (which is always a comfort) - free breakfast at a great place too- Near the metro and a bunch of markets- ok with foreigners and solo travelers for long terms too- 5star! 'We recently spent 6 days at the Jade Spa Hotel. This hotel and spa is a wonderful gem. This is a quiet location with beautiful views of the nearby mountains. 'We liked everything. This place is amazing, it’s modern and has everything that a 5 star hotel would offer you plus you would get the most amazing view. Natalia (our host) was great from the first day we made our reservation and was very easy to communicate with her. Daniel who is the person that greeted us when we got there was great and showed us how everything works in our room/house and also brought us our breakfast in the morning (which by the way was delicious)…I would rate this place a 10...

'The front desk guy was very unprofessional. I'll just leave it at that. READ THE ROOM DETAILS. Some room types have shared bathrooms and some are shared. Has more of a dorm or hostel feel to place. Noisy on the halls and thin walls between guests. Can hear everything from foot steps to convos to sex from everyone especially when people are in shared spaces like hallway or guest lounges. Only positive is location. '

"The Landmark Hotel is a well-maintained and attractive hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean, and there are plenty of facilities available, such as ample food and drink options, laundry service, and a beautiful rooftop pool with towel service. In the area surrounding the hotel, there are plenty of places to eat and a good selection of shops. A minor downside is that the room appears much larger in the photos than it actually is, but overall, it's a great place to stay. "
