Welcome to Yooyen Lakeview. A newly renovated one-bedroom retreat where stunning Queenstown lake views meet total calm. Enjoy a coffee on our balcony while the sun rises over the clear water of Lake Wakatipu and snow capped Remarkable mountains. `Yooyen` means to live peacefully and in harmony and that`s exactly what you`ll find here; a place to relax, recharge and feel completely at home.

Stay comfortably..

Bedrooms: One king bedroom with the option to split into two singles and beds. All featuring hotel standard beds & linen. Designed to provide restful nights sleep for a couple or two friends. A cot for infants can be supplied on request.

Bathrooms: One bathroom off of the kitchen. Equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and toilet paper.

Kitchen and living area: Stunning open plan kitchen and lounge area making it a social place to entertain and cook meals. The lounge area has a comfy brand new sofa and 55 inch TV. The lounge area leads out to a large decking - perfect spot to soak in the stunning sunsets & lake views.

The kitchen is fully equipped to self cater throughout your stay with brand new appliances. We provide the basics to get you started; oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar and cleaning supplies.

Parking: One parking space dedicate to the unit in the apartment complex. Note there are some steps to walk to the front door. No steps throughout the home.

Laundry: A 2 in 1 washing machine & dryer is available for use throughout your stay. Washing powder is also provided.

Surroundings:
Everything Queenstown has to offer is within easy reach:

✅The Remarkables Ski Field (bottom of access road) — 7.1 km · 10 min drive
✅Coronet Peak Ski Field (bottom of access road) — 10.8 km · 15 min drive
✅Queenstown CBD (Four Square supermarket) — 3.5 km · 5 min drive
✅Frankton – Five Mile Shopping Centre— 4.1 km · 5 min drive
✅Easily accessible bus route to Queenstown, Frankton & Arrowtown for those who choose not to rent a vehicle. Note there is a slightly steep climb from the apartment building.

- Scenic walking trail to town (1 hour) & Frankton Marina (20 minutes). NOTE: The lake access track is currently closed for maintenance until November 2026.

- The hot water is run off of a hot water cylinder. This is large enough to comfortably house two guests but may run out in excessive use. Kindly note it will take one hour for it to reheat.

Cancellations & damage deposits:
3% of your booking fee is non refundable due to bank charges out of our control. A pre authorized charge of 250 NZD will be placed on your card 2 days before check out - this is a security deposit & will be refunded automatically if no damages occur.

Check-in is from 3:00pm- 10:00pm unless pre-arranged with our team.

⏰ Check-out is by 10:00am.
We ask that the property is left in a tidy state. Unscheduled late check-outs or excessive mess may result in additional cleaning fees.

🚭 Smoking
All our properties are strictly non-smoking. If evidence of indoor smoking is found, a minimum $200 NZD fee will apply for deep cleaning.

🛠️ Damage, lost keys & callouts
We ask that you treat our home with care.
If any damage occurs, keys are lost, noise complaints arise or an unnecessary callout is required due to guest actions, we reserve the right to charge $60/hr for management time.
👉 Please note: Callouts required after 5:00pm or on weekends/public holidays will incur a higher fee of $120 p/h for management time.

👥 Guest Numbers & Age Requirement
The lead guest must be 25 years or older (ID may be requested) and present during the stay. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you do not meet the above requirements. The total number of guests must not exceed the number confirmed in the reservation.

🐾 Pets
Pets are not permitted in our homes.

🔇 Noise
To respect our neighbours, we ask for quiet time between 10:00pm and 7:00am. Noise complaints may incur a minimum $100 NZD fee.

🎉 Parties & Gatherings
Parties, events or large gatherings are not permitted. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.

🧹 During Your Stay
We appreciate guests leaving the property as they found it:
- Please do not rearrange furniture or remove items.
- Place rubbish in the appropriate bins.
- Place any dishes in the dishwasher and remove unwanted food.
- Leave keys in the lockbox upon departure.
- All linen is professionally hired, any missing or damaged items will incur a replacement fee.

🚨 Serious Breaches
We reserve the right to cancel your stay without a refund if house rules are not followed. Any illegal activity will be reported to authorities and additional management fees may apply.

🧒 Children & Safety
Please ensure all children are supervised when staying in our homes. We will not be held liable for any incidents.

🔒 Guest Safety & Liability
Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property. While we take great care to provide a safe space, we cannot be held responsible for personal loss, damage, or injury during your stay.

🌍 Force Majeure
We’re unable to accept responsibility for cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, travel disruptions, pandemics). Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

💵 Rates & Fees
All rates are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to 15% GST unless otherwise stated. Additional fees may apply if house rules are not respected.

📅 Cancellations
We recommend all guests to have travel insurance in place. Our cancellation policy will apply to all bookings and we are unable to offer refunds for circumstances outside of our control.
