'The surface of the dining room table was not very good. The surface was sticky, as if the surface had gone off and the glue was coming through. Did not clean up. Also the WIFI was terrible, I missed 2 nights of my favourite shows as I couldn't connect to streaming services. The room was quiet though and the bed very comfy.'

'This guest house is like a hostel in many ways but with the creative use of one lot not a huge property as I thought it would be. We had booked a tent experience which is a screen tent, holding a bed, night tables, lamp and fan, below a roof and side walls. Our unit had a whole side section about 6ft without a barrier so we could see to the next tent, wooden slats around the tent are not together which lets air flow in but gives little privacy. The gate style wooden door into our tent was not...

'Such a lovely relaxing stay at spicers. It’s very quiet and feels very secluded in a little garden setting. We had two fantastic meals at the Long Apron and the staff were warm and welcoming. Only minor disappointment was that there was no balcony to our room, so nowhere to sit for our morning coffee. Other than that everything was delightful. '

'My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful backyard for our dog. A few shops just across the road. A park with a stream for dogs to have a swim just a minute walk away. Clean bathroom, kitchen and rooms. And the best pricing. Would definitely stay again.'

'We were greeted by the very friendly Russ when we arrived, who immediately showed us around the property and explained how to use the tv remotes/other things in the unit. The room was surprisingly spacious and had plenty of complimentary food and snacks. The property itself has a lovely garden, with croquet, finska and badminton, as well as a path to a bit of a bush walk. 'Not the best kept place I've stayed at. Empty bottles & cans strewn around bin, old, manky outdoor furniture. Shared toilet could be cleaner. Room a bit musty. Outdoor dining facilities aren't too bad. A bit overpriced for what's delivered.'
