The Fairmont Château Frontenac is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being able to get into our room early. A special thank you to Rose at the concierge desk for helping us book tour tickets—she was great.
However, there were some disappointments. Our room overlooked the courtyard and was quite loud with maintenance noise starting around 9am. The pool and hot tub were overcrowded, the steam room (which is only available to women) was out of service and there was no space in the bar fridge for our own drinks. We also found it frustrating that robes weren’t in the room, and when we asked the concierge for one, we felt like we were bothering them.
Overall, we’re glad we experienced the hotel, but for the price, we likely wouldn’t return
