Beautiful house with amazing views! Chose this property for my 40th birthday trip. The property owners are super responsive and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. They stocked the fridge with drinks and left a couple birthday gifts around the house for me. I can’t say enough positive things. Lots of stuff to do and plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from in the area. So glad we chose this one, hopefully we’ll be able to get back in the future!

From the moment we drove down the tree lined driveway to the house sitting right on the coast we fell in love with the place. Amazing Coastal Maine Vacation

What a wonderful family vacation. The house and property are exactly as described and even prettier in person. Jill was so helpful and gracious. The fridge was stocked with beverages and some delicious coffee cakes which were much appreciated after a long couple days of travel. Our family had a fantastic time enjoying the views, climbing the rocks, and visiting the surrounding area for hikes, great meals and lasting memories.

With what Mother Nature provides in the great state of Maine along with the hospitality of the host of this gorgeous coastal home, you will surely enjoy a great vacation. We were welcomed with delicious coffee cake, New England coffee, refreshing beverages and fresh fruit and flowers. The linen closet was stocked with hotel quality towels along with plenty of dish towels in the kitchen. The game room was one of the family favorites after a day of enjoying the out of doors. Waking up every morning to spectacular views of the water and wildlife is something that we will always remember and truly miss.

Peaceful and beautiful.

We have stayed in places all over the world and the hosts for this place were the best. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hosts left a wonderful welcoming gift. It was extremely clean and the views from the back deck are like something you see on a postcard. We saw harbor seals, bald eagles, and various other animals from the deck.If you want to enjoy the beauty of Maine, this is the place.

Property was as advertised. Nice and Peacefull neighborhood and a spectactular view of the Harbor. Jill our host was a ROCK STAR. We very much appreciated her leaving the lights on for us and the special anniversary treats. The house was spotless and was fully stocked with needed items. All of the room furnishings were very comfortable and nice.We especially loved the birds, the rabbits and our nightly Deer visitor.We cant wait to return.

Stop looking, start booking - This is THE place

Best VRBO we have ever stayed at . . . by far. The view, the layout, the location are all top tier. What set this home apart from all others was their attention to detail. Here's a list of what to expect: 1. The cleanest VRBO you will ever stay at. We didn't see a spec of dust, pests, dirty dishes, nothing. 2. Very attentive and communicative hosts. Answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations before our arrival. 3. Amenities galore. They have spared no expense in ensuring their guests have what they need. We had enough towels to last us a month (for a week stay). The starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, soap were way more than we expected. Heck, they even had 6 battery powered lanterns if you wanted to use them at night while going between the fire pit and the house. 4. Well appointed kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed from dishes, to pots, and extremely clean appliances. 5. Layout - We absolutely loved the layout of the house. The half levels were perfect for having privacy from others that travel with you, while still having plenty of space to gather. 6. The perfect outdoor area. Great seating for dining, relaxing, and enjoying a fire. The view is incredible too. 8. Above and beyond - I've never been to a VRBO, until now, that has a gourmet coffee cake, personalize note, local beers, white claws, Fuji water bottles, and a pack of local coffee. What an incredible gesture from the hosts! THANK YOU for going above and beyond!

An Absolute Gem!

I can't say enough good things about this property. Our group had 5 adults and 3 children. The house was immaculate and the owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Communication with Jill was perfect - she responded quickly to all of my questions and her responses were always thorough. She also gave some great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. Adorable location, about an hour from Bar Harbor, and there are some beautiful walks, shops, and a couple of great restaurants nearby. You can entertain yourself for a couple of hours just driving the coastline and stopping to take in the views. My family had to drag me away away from the rocks, the views of the ocean, and sound of the waves at the end of our visit. I didn't want to leave! I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful Home in Beautiful Quiet Location

Loved everything about our stay and the entire booking process with Jill West. The house is lovely with lots of quiet comfortable rooms and spectacular views throughout. We saw a seal, an eagle, harbor porpoises, cormorants, loons, a chipmunk, a squirrel and a duck family with a baby duck! Everything in a rental that you’d want to be there, is there, and more - including binoculars - and boy, will you use them! Thank you to Jill for the welcome gift and the little touches like fresh flowers, sunscreen, beach towels and laundry detergent. Prospect Harbor was quiet - don’t expect a big city experience. Bar harbor was great for a day trip and so is Acadia on Mt Desert. We loved driving over to Winter Harbor for some wonderful food in an adorable small town. My fave day was taking pictures in nearby Corea. We couldn’t have been happier. Thank you!

Maine stay

This home is so lovely and in a tranquil location, we had a wonderful time. The deck was used every day, for games, reading and the beautiful view. There's birds, chipmunks, bunnies, deer and even a docile porcupine came into the yard. It was an easy 1 hr. drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. My 20 year old sons would not have chosen the bunk bed room, but they didn't complain because we needed all 5 of the big bedrooms and found all the beds so comfortable. The gathering spaces were very inviting, it's nice to have both the living room and the game room option. The kitchen is big, full of everything we need and user friendly with plenty of tables for us to eat together. They had waters and plenty more to share with us in the fridge and on the counter as well as fresh flowers throughout the house. We've not been to a VRBO that has set us up so well as Jed and Jill did. They really love this home and it shows in how well it is taken care of. We felt very fortunate to be able to rent this home for our trip to Maine!

Perfect place for a family vacation!

Our extended family of 10 stayed at this beautiful seaside home for a week and had the best time. The house was very clean and well appointed; it had absolutely everything we needed and so much more. Jill and Jed were incredibly gracious and helpful hosts and even helped with recommendations for the Fourth of July! The house is conveniently located but far away from the crowds. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck overlooking the bay and exploring the rocky shoreline at low tide. We got to see lots of wildlife - many birds, foxes, and even a porcupine. This is an outstanding house in a great location.

We had a great time in Maine. This home was absolutely beautiful, wonderfully decorated, the outdoor space was also great. We used the outdoor fire pit and the sky was absolutely stunning with the Milky Way and stars right above. We were greeted with fresh flowers, some amazing breakfast coffee cake, and other amenities to make us feel welcomed. It was a very peaceful and private location!

Week of Wonderful Memories

After a long day of travel, we drove down the driveway and were greeted with a stunning view of the water and the beautiful house we were going to call “home” for the week! The house is just perfect. It is spacious and full of fun - shuffle board and piano, indoor and outdoor games, fire pit, outdoor places to sit and relax. The house was clean and decorated beautifully. The owners had left us coffee cakes, coffee, and fresh flowers- ❤️❤️. The kitchen is well stocked and had extras like dish soap and paper towels which is so nice! The location is phenomenal. You are away from the crowds and traffic of Mt. Desert Island but it is easy to access if you want to do so. We went on the ferry which was very fun. The villages that surround the area are cute and full of places to eat, art galleries, wonderful walks and places to scramble out over rocks. My teens loved the hiking and biking around the Schoodic section of Acadia. When we come to Maine again, and I hope it is soon, our first step will be booking this property again. Thanks Jill and Jeb for an amazing experience!

Everything you could want

Couldn't have asked for a better place for our annual Maine vacation. House was exactly as described -- if not better. Plenty of room (and privacy) for 8 adults. Modern house, extremely well kept and clean. Awesome views, ocean really is steps away and a beach a short walk. Location may seem a bit remote, but the house and privacy are worth a few minutes extra drive. Ferry to Bar Harbor is close and that is a scenic 40 minute ride if you don't want to drive (and park, ughhh). Owners/Manager uber-responsive and respectful when a minor plumbing issue popped up. Welcome gift was the cherry on top. Definitely a house we would rent again.

Welcoming House and Hostess

Jill was fantastic in preparing us for our visit and supporting us as I asked many questions about the property and the area. The home is comfortable and versatile. We cooked, we grilled, we enjoyed time together in and out of the house. A great vacation home.
