This part of the city was known as Brandy Circut because there are supposed to be brandy stills following to this space. In 1882, this square acquired its current name on the centenary of the death of the Portuguese political leader Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo (Marquês de Pombal)
The square includes a romantic garden, two fountains and a bandstand. Densely wooded, it is very popular on hot days and by pensioners who play Swedish and domino games here. With the metro in the zone, you can quickly move around the city in a few minutes.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest metro station, Marquês, is just a 2-minute walk.

The Francisco Sá Carneiro airport is a 25-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will need to verify your identity before you can check into the flat.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum.
