As a food fanatic myself, I can assure you that you're just a short walk away from some of the city’s best restaurants, delicious bakeries, renowned local coffee and tea shops, lively bars, and vibrant nightlife. You'll also find boutique shops, grocery stores, and so much more right at your doorstep.



Beyond the culinary delights, the neighborhood offers a wealth of parks and recreational opportunities. Take a leisurely stroll or enjoy a picnic at Laurelhurst Park, known for its beautiful landscapes and serene pond. For those who love to stay active, the Eastbank Esplanade provides a scenic path along the Willamette River, perfect for walking, running, or cycling.



Art enthusiasts will appreciate the local art scene, with numerous galleries and murals adding a splash of creativity to the area. Don't miss a visit to the Portland Art Museum or the quirky, yet fascinating, Independent Publishing Resource Center.

Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — The Belmont and Hawthorne corridors are among Portland's most vibrant, with an eclectic mix of restaurants, vintage shops, cafes, and bars all within walking distance.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 15 (Belmont) runs along Belmont Street with service to downtown. Route 14 (Hawthorne) is also nearby.



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's bike lane network offers another way to explore.



🚗 Driving — Free street parking is subject to posted signs and available spaces. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is another option.



✈️ Airport — PDX is accessible by car or a MAX-and-bus connection. Allow for traffic and check current schedules.

🏙️ Restaurant + Street Noise

You are very close to Belmont/Hawthorne restaurants, bars, and shops. This is excellent for walkability, but nearby restaurant/bar activity and street noise can be audible at times, especially on weekend evenings. Light sleepers may prefer white noise or earplugs.



The fireplace is decorative only and not functional. Exterior and interior stairs are part of the stay. Cooling is available in the top-floor sleeping area.

🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
