« An idyllic stay at a property that was delightful, from the views to the overall comfort, and was well and amply stocked with thoughtful amenities. The location is great, in terms of proximity to Damariscotta and environs, but one also feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of summer tourists. The kayaks were fun, as was looking for animals in the water at low tide. A true haven of a rental that was much appreciated! »

« Well appointed and comfortable cabin. Loved the retro fridge and microwave and sitting on the deck with a morning coffee. We awoke to a woodsy view every morning. The location was perfect for us; convenient to Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point. Our host was fabulous with his timely communication and down east hospitality. If we pass through this way again, we will be sure to stay here again. »

« I loved the cottage -- very simple, relaxing, in a remote waterfront location. To me: a cottage. To my partner: a shack...but very nice shack. The fireplace threw out enough heat to keep us cozy in the mornings and evenings (late Sept visit). When it was time to leave, our dog stretched out on the grass, his expressive eyes saying "Are you guys serious? Why are we leaving?" « We very much enjoyed this well-located and appointed cottage and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to a request for grilling materials and the Guest Contact for her responsiveness. Two minor concerns: a stove with oven would have expanded our food prep options, and finding the address on GPS was impossible - only after calling her did Contact email a special map to show us how to get to the cottage. »

« Beth’s place is simply breathtaking! The home is clean, bright, beautifully decorated and filled with light. The deck became the best part of our days - from sunrises, coffee and lobster boats in the morning to grilling, ospreys, bats and sailboats in the evening. The location is central to many activities. We were beyond blessed to be there and already long to return. »

« This cottage was perfect for our family and we didn't want to leave! The pond (and surrounding neighborhood) is quiet and peaceful. We happened to visit during a heat wave and were perfectly comfortable with no a/c - there were multiple fans in most closets. Over all it was just a lovely home and a perfect jumping off point for exploring the surrounding area. We hope to return! »

« We loved the house. My adult children enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water. We enjoyed the strong wifi, and watched movies and enjoyed each other's company in such a lovely spot.I highly recommend vacationing on Pleasant Point Road. »

« Very comfortable, clean small cottage. We slept great in the bed that was provided and it had a futon in the living area . We recommend that only 2 people stay there. They had a toaster oven , a full refrigerator and a coffee maker. It is very close to Route 1, Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta. »

« The Moonlight Cottage, situated on a working harbor with an amazing view of Southern Island and the Gulf of Maine, is the quintessential Maine cottage. The kitchen is quite well equipped, there is easy access to the water for kayaking (rentals from Port Clyde Kayaks) and the cottage location, in Tenants Harbor, allows easy access to hiking and fantastic restaurants in nearby Rockland, Rockport and Camden. »
