The Space:

Stairway to Heaven 1, in a family friendly area offers you the luxury of a view of the beautiful Gulf Coastline - from the Southeast to the Southwest, you will see breathtaking Sunrises and beautiful Sunsets over the City of Galveston from the decks !



Literally steps from the beach, your options are unlimited including experiencing some of the best surf fishing directly in front of the house.

This lovely Home, in a naturally landscaped environment, features beach views from all bedrooms, including the front and back covered / gated decks. The two open Living areas have furniture you will want to relax into, a large TV with Roku and there’s WiFi !

Stairway to Heaven 1, offers additional comforts, with two refrigerators ( one in laundry ) a regular drip coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, crockpot…and more!

There's seating at the Kitchen Island and two separate Dining tables, and just in case, …you'll also find a washer and dryer in the Laundry room! With over 1,400 sq. ft., our Home accommodates 11. Three Bedrooms; One Bedroom has a Queen Bed, second Bedroom has a Full Bed, and in the third is a Full Bed with a Twin Bed above.

The Two Living Room sofa’s are Queen Sleepers ( with upgraded mattresses ).



Stairway to Heaven 1, has Two full Bathrooms;

One with a full size Tub, One with a walk-in Shower that has ADA/Handicap accommodations.

And there are nice wider Hallways throughout.



Downstairs there are closed in and open shower areas - there’s also sink / fish cleaning / cooking counter areas and a charcoal BBQ pit.

There’s a double Driveway with the convenience to park under the house.

Light switches are at / near the front and back stairs, and they can also be controlled from the Laundry room upstairs!

Small dogs (under 35 pounds) allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age. Loved the location.Wished there were at least one more of the tall chairs to see over, and maybe a table. Dryer took forever to dry clothes.Plenty of beds, blankets, pillows. Great view of the beach and just a short walk. Love the showers for feet and anything else downstairs.

First, get satellite for your TV. Great place on the front row of beach. Really would advise staying here. Fireworks amazing, and be prepared for ongoing before and after the new year. I’m booking for next year

No WiFi!

The house was great. Along with the location. There were two things that I didn’t like about this property. First, there was no WiFi. Yes the listing didn’t say it had WiFi. To be honest I no longer check a listing for that specifically. This is 2022. Every property I’ve ever rented had free WiFi. The signal was there, but the property owner does not give out the access to it. And with very limited cell coverage in the area, this was very frustrating. Once again, it’s 2022. WiFi should be included. The second negative, was the bed in the room with deck access was horrible. I don’t know if the box spring was broken, or what, but both sides rolled into the center. Made for a horrible 3 nights sleep. Upon inspection, there was already a stack of 5 boards placed under the middle of the bed, so maybe the issue was known about? Either way, for a rental property that costs that amount of money, all the beds should be in excellent shape. Other than those two issues the house was nice. But they are big issues to me, so I don’t know if I would rent it again.

Nice house, rental rate is competitive compared too other beachfront properties. Some of the furniture is pretty worn and tattered, needs replaced. Overall a very nice six day vacation on the beach.
