'Overall a great place to stay, close to a lot of great spots in Fishtown! I will say it’s a little buggy, we did come across quite a few little spiders/ants/other bugs. The mattress is very firm and they could use some new, fluffier pillows but altogether fairly comfortable. Beware - the stairs are VERY steep!!'

'The location of this apartment is okay, and check-in was very smooth. The apartment is a bit worn in some places and could benefit from some maintenance, especially the windows, the blinds, and baseboard heaters are broken. The toilet was not cleaned and there was no toilet paper. I contacted the host and he did drop some off about 6 hours later. For the kitchen, the oven, underneath the sink, and the utensil drawer were not cleaned. A quick heads-up to future guests, bring your own linens....

'Description and photos set appropriate expectations. Yes, there is an elevated train outside the door. Did it bother us? No, we were expecting it and being close to a stop was an added plus for touring the city. The studio was clean, the host communicated quickly and clearly when the VRBO website didn't so that we had no delay in checking in, the toiletry amenities were unexpected and thoughtful, and the prepared notebook of options for restaurants and places to visit was appreciated. 'Property work out great for an overnight stay in Philadelphia for 4 adults. Price was reasonable, property was clean and as described. They are very clear about the fairly lengthy flight of stairs you have to take to get to this unit, so do not book if you have issues with stairs or have heavy luggage that you don’t want to haul up several steps. Plenty of food options near by, as well as a couple coffee shops. Very nice place, with great host communication. Would not hesitate to book again....
