'Darling little place! People couldn’t have been friendlier. Food at restaurant and drinks at bar both great. Rustic feel which I love, but there was a birds nest with droppings on our patio which I could have lived without. Overall a lovely stay!'

'Is is improving. I am staying in a nicer grade of room. The location is better than an other hotel I tried on the far side of the lake. Heavy trash around the hotel was cleaned up. Internet slightly improved. They do need to use diffrent channels on the WI fi broadcasts. Right now they are all in a center channel and are competing against each other. I would stay there again.'

'I read a lot of reviews both good and not so good prior to booking and here’s what I can say. We loved the place. While it’s an extremely large, sprawling place it was also quiet and very enjoyable. There was a wedding taking place by the marina. The Abbey is kid friendly but also romantic for couples. In some of the reviews people discussed the upkeep.
