Even with one master BR being locked out for owners private use, our condo can still accommodate 6-8 guest with the second master BR having a queen and trundle bed and the guest BR having a queen bed. Portofino Resort is referred to as the Crown Jewel of Santa Rosa Island for good reason. It is the largest development on the island, and the last one heading east, with eight miles of undeveloped Gulf Island National Seashore after it. This 28-acre complex is a uniquely modern, Mediterranean design, state-of-the-art vacation heaven, with something for every one of all ages. Approximately 64% of the entire complex is dedicated to ecological habitat areas, with only 36% being used for buildings, roads, pools etc.

Our unit faces south and is the closest tower to the beach and the only thing you will see looking out the 60 feet of windows and deck is the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Island. Miles of spectacular breathtaking views of sugar-white sand beaches and seashore…sea, sand, and beautiful sunsets!

Each of the five towers in the Portofino Resort are at least 300ft away from each other, and offer their own large pool and hot tub, along with umbrella tables, chairs, and loungers for sunbathing, as well as, Men's & Women's bathrooms next to the pool.

The $5,000,000, 40,000-square-foot Lifestyle Center has two outdoor infinity pools with two large hot tubs, and an Olympic-size indoor lap pool, as well as a large private indoor hot tub. It has separate men's and women's areas which each feature sauna and steam rooms, as well as private lockers and shower facilities complete with all toiletries. Upstairs there is a state-of-the-art work-out facility with free weights, Cybex weight machines, and True brand treadmills, elliptical machines, and bicycles. There is also a natural juice and snack bar, featuring Starbucks coffee. There is also a special room with personal trainers available for classes such as Yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, spin classes, and many others. Water aerobics are taught in the indoor pool.

There are five, lighted, Rubico Hydro tennis courts on the property. The spa also offers message therapy, facials, and various body treatments.

When you get hungry there is the Coastal Grill (a fine dining restaurant) downstairs, as well as an outdoor grill restaurant by the pools, and an indoor and outdoor bar. Live music is often featured by the pools. The pool area is situated on the bay side, so you can walk out on the dock, or along the shore for eight miles of undeveloped, uninhabited beach, trees, rivers and lakes.

On both the gulf and the bay side at the complex are one- and two-person kayaks, water bikes, sailboats, surf and boogie boards for rent. On the bay side you can rent jet skis, sailboats, pontoon boat, and other types of personal watercraft. Or you can rent a regular bike and ride the paved walk/bike path for miles. It does not get any better than this!

There is a 65-passenger catamaran that can take you to the boardwalk for shopping, or a dolphin, sunset, or Blue Angels cruise. Or, within a short drive from the complex, you can indulge yourself in every kind of activity possible, including Pensacola Naval Museum, which is home to the Blue Angels and boasts one of the largest, indoor, air and sea museums in the world, Indian Temple Mound, a Civil War-era complex called Fort Pickens (which once held Geronimo), the Gulfarium, a zoo, Five Flags Motor Speedway with miniature Indy Cars for rental, the Seville Quarter with various live music venues, cinemas, horseback riding, shopping, endless antique stores and restaurants, fishing (shore, dock, and charters), miniature golf, motor cycle rental, electric funny car rental, jet ski rental, etc.

The condominium unit is equipped with everything you need to make this home for your stay. Again, this a spacious 3 bedroom unit with all the extra floor space and huge rap-around balcony but is rented as is a two-bedroom due to owners keeping one bedroom for private use. Our luxurious condo is furnished with two-and-one-half bath unit, with a queen-size bed, as well as, a trundle bed in the 2nd master suite, two separate closets and Its own full private bath. The second bedroom features a queen bed and its own private full bath as well. Each bedroom and the salon has a direct view of the ocean, and a door to the 60 foot balcony, which has a table with seating for 8, 2 captain chairs, a stainless steel electric grill, and a glass rail to allow un-obstructed viewing of the ocean and beach.

The main living area features 2 full cozy soft leather sofas/couches with matching love sofa.There is a DVD player, a 75”flat screen smart TV and music system in the main living area, and each bedroom has its own TV with DVD player.
The unit has Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet internet access.

The maple cabinet, granite countertop kitchen is fully equipped for making a gourmet meal, and includes a large, side-by-side refrigerator, flat surface stove, convection oven, full-size microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a full array of dishes, cookware and spices. The dining room table seats six, with an eight-foot snack bar with three bar stools. A seperate bar is also included which is great for entertaining guest. Full linens are provided and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. A grocery shopping service is also available.
You must be at least 25 years of age to rent. This is a no pet, no smoking rental unit, located 15 minutes from downtown Pensacola, and 25 minutes from the local airport, with taxi service available.
