I'll start with the good/neutral. The unit was well located, right next to a ski slope and fun summer activities. The building was older but well-maintained and the bedrooms and amenities were essentially as pictured. The layout of the unit was slightly awkward, including a 3rd bedroom that was really more of a nook (though that was expected given the description). Now for the bad. Check-in was difficult, requiring use of a separate website that made the process long and clunky when we arrived late at night. The unit had no instructions on how to operate the TV, which after frustrating trial and error I eventually figured out. The worst part of our stay was a serious safety hazard involving the large 40 lb antler chandelier above the dining room table. On the 2nd day of our stay, the chandelier spontaneously fell from the ceiling not 3 feet from where my family was seated in the living room. Had we decided to eat indoors 5 minutes later than our outdoor meal, I am sure someone would have been seriously injured, if not worse. The chandelier was obviously improperly installed with a small hook not suited for the weight of the fixture. The incident was very scary, and to make a bad situation worse the communication with the rental company has thus far been less than desirable. It took over 24 hours to get the chandelier moved and the mess cleaned up so we could use the table. The crew who cleaned it up left the back door to the deck hanging wide open. I had to message and call m
