First of all, let us say the location can't be beat. It is the best spot for seeing the best of Paris. Despite a strong mildew smell, we were fairly comfortable in the unit, There were items that needed attending to by whomever is the handy man. The closets were missing one of the siding doors. The broken one and its new replacement were stuffed behind the couch which didn't give a great feel. The sliding door to the bathroom would slide closed but then wouldn't slide back to open so someone on the outside had to lift it a bit to get it to slide. Thus, we just left it open so as to not trap either of us inside. The top hinge on the cabinet above the hob was loose so that when you opened the cabinet door, it tilted downward and then had to be lifted up to close it. Had all these items been attended to prior to our stay it would have made for a more finished look. The writeup for the unit said that there would be body wash, shampoo and soap in the bathroom. None of those were there. In the kitchen, there weren't any plates, just two different size bowls to be used for food. Also, no placemats or napkins. Be aware of the damage deposit. Despite written assurances by the reservations team that our deposit would be returned within 14 day period, it is now day 17, no deposit refund, and while they were quite communicative on Vrbo prior to and during our stay, now they won't respond as to why the deposit hasn't been refunded.
