« Quiet, spacious and friendly »

« Customer service was exceptional as soon as we arrived, nothing was too much bother. The premises are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the portions are hearty indeed! There is a family friendly / homely bar area with a pool table. The pool and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to return to The Hopton if I ever return to Blackpool. Thank you for a pleasent stay. »

« The hotel itself is in a good position & in a quieter area, away from all the drunks, but it is in need after some TLC, I realise its an old building, but it really does need some £ spending on it, tv remote not working & you have to pay £20 deposit for remote for air conditioning, why? « There’s no on‑site parking for overnight stays, but the car park is just around the corner and only a few minutes’ walk away. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome. « The hotel itself was nice. Nothing fancy and just what I expected. The issues we had were within the room itself. The bathroom was tiny and could see mould/where mould had been and as it was so small, kept knocking an already wobbly shelf. The room was clean and inviting, though the beds were very creaky and uncomfortable which resulted in constant back ache. Would definitely come back if the beds and bathroom issues were resolved »
