'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'The hotel itself is decent. It seems quite old and not super clean. The pool area is nice and the breakfast is nice. After crossing the street the beautifull beach is there. Top service of this hote is that it provides free beach gear. Free surfboards, free bodyboards, beach chairs, beach tennis sets, snorkel gear, everything you need for a fun day at the beach! '

'Een smal paadje leidt je zo naar het strand MAAR je kan hier niet zwemmen! Er staat een groot bord dat er in dit gedeelte krokodillen zitten, dus om te zwemmen / surfen moet je eerst 200 meter verder lopen . Dat stond niet op de website vermeld. Wij hadden het hotel juist geboekt zodat onze kinderen voor de deur in zee konden, maar dat viel dus erg tegen. Het hotel wilde ons niet tegemoet komen door 1 van de 3 geboekte nachten te cancellen . Verder: het zijn heel basic kamers, een piepkleine...

'Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional.'

'I didn’t realize it was more of a B & B stay until we arrived. For the price we expected a grand lobby entrance etc. We quickly realized (when Edwardo called us by name) that this would be a much different stay! Suzanna gave us a tour of our amazing room and the rest of the grounds and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised! We stayed two nights in the Luna room, and wished we had stayed 4. 'Hotel and staff we very nice. The water did get shut off overnight, not sure why that happened but we know there were rolling black outs while we were there. We were there in off season so pretty much had the place to ourselves. Not being surfers, this really isn't the area for us so we were glad it was off season.'
