Nice and fun stay on the beach

It was definitely a good place to stay. Floors just weren't the cleanest, but I find that happens a lot when we stay in florida. Everything you need and more to be comfortable and at home. The balcony and view was great and the pool was super awesome. Beds were comfortable enough and my 5 year old and two year old boys loved the bunk bed. Ive heard complaints about how busy this resort can be, but we stayed the weekend after labor day so it wasnt busy at all. On site food and drinks were great as well. We had a very good time and didnt want to leave! Would stay again.

Beautiful condo with a wonderful view!

The condo is exactly as listed. We love staying at the shores of Panama because of its location. I normally dont like the top floors due to elevator issues, but trust me they are worse at other condos (we've tried staying at a lot), but it wasn't as bad as expected. We loved every minute. Enjoyed the homey vibe of the condo and will definitely stay again!

Beautiful place but extremely dusty and unclean

The property was beautiful but it was a extremely dusty room. The kitchen had dirty dishes and the bedroom was filthy. Under the bed was gross and behind the nightstand was a bottle of Vaseline that was covered in hair. Gross. We had a great time at the beach and pools. The elevators were a pain I could only imagine how bad it would be if the place was full. We had a heck of a time trying to get our stuff out of the place into the garage. The garage was another story. Someone had parked in our reserved parking spot and it took me 2 days until I could get them to move the guards didn’t want to do anything about it.

They will tell you that facility related issues are out of the owners control - the facility is part of the vacation. If the facility is horrible it does not matter how great the condo is. We spent, on average, 80-120 minutes each day waiting on the elevator. Read the reviews; everyone complains about the elevators. No joke. Also, the police were on the beach in front of the condo every night breaking of mobs of people who were fighting, shouting, chanting, causing a menace. The mob was pepper sprayed one night. Sound like fun now? Our family did not feel safe going onto the beach at night. Finally, there were partiers on the balconies and out on the outside hallways a couple of night. Security shined a spotlight but never went to evict them or shut them down. They partied late into the early mornings. Finally, the owner has the thermostat set to increase throughout the day. The first day it was 78 in the room with the doors shut. We called and they responded but still we had to constantly check the thermostat to reset it the entire time we were there. I would not recommend any condo in The Shores of Panama. Never again!

NICE ROOM BUT HAIRS ON SHEETS

Room was nice but sheets on bed had hairs all on them under blanket. You could they wasn’t washed or changed. And notes posted on doors for check out rules state “LEAVE SHEETS ON BED DO NOT STRIP OFF JUST PUT TOWELS ON FLOOR AND TAKE OUT TRASH” ROOM 2217 Sad when you can’t post truth due to rules by VRBO

Birthday with family

We have stayed here several times but not at this exact room. The room was great, the property on the other hand has gone down hill. It was too packed, the garage of course was the same.. parking too tight, not enough spaces etc. Many people smoking weed, soon as you open your patio door you can smell it. There was even a few times guys on the elevator which was always crowded with no air asked if I either had white powder or wanted to do white powder with them.

Anniversary Getaway

Thank you for sharing your condo with us it is a very clean and beautiful place. This place was awesome, we would stay here again. It was like being on a private resort so where in the Caribbean Island over looking the ocean and pool with palm trees and beautiful flowers. The setting was beautiful. Even though it rained the whole time we were there. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back to stay here again but with sunshine.

Everything was good except the elevators. They’re trash! It was memorial day weekend and super busy! The elevators got stuck multiple times and were out of service a lot. The wait times for elevators can be 20 minutes sometimes.

Shores of Panama was too busy for my family

Nothing was said about the $50 min-refundable charge for arm bands and parking pass. Parking garage was a nightmare on busy days...oversized vehicles have issues unloading in that parking spot...elevators were also a problem...and be sure you take your ID if you want a cart to load/unload your luggage.

Beautiful condo but.....

The condo is exactly what you would see in their website. Very spacious living room, master bedroom and balcony. Very convenient area across the street from a gas station, Walmart and the best restaurant in town “Pineapple Willy’s”. However, it’s definitely not a quiet and relaxing place for a family. It’s more like Springbreak all over again with lots of teens yelling after the 10 pm curfew and smoking lots of marijuana. Front desk says it will be over soon because usually folks don’t rent out apartments for long periods of time. The beaches were extremely crowded early in the am and the biggest downfall is that you’re on the 22nd floor out of 23. The looong wait for the elevator daily made it difficult for us to consider returning. In two different instances the fire department was called because the elevators got stuck due to heavy loads. Keep in mind, besides the long wait, the elevators have no AC units. Once again, the apartment was great but the overall experience troubling.

We rented a condominium for a nice, peaceful family vacation. As it turned out, there were very many other units that had been rented to young partiers who were extremely loud at late hours, yelling across the complex and running up and down the breezeways yelling and being very disrespectful and disruptive. While it was comforting to have security, some of the rules were ridiculous. It was so frustrating that security was quick to stop me and my child from playing with pool toys, but did nothing to stop the rowdiness and rudeness of the loud young people who were clearly being obstinate and disrespectful of others. In addition, the time it took to use the elevators robbed us of time we could have been spending with our family. Overall, we were extremely frustrated and disappointed with our stay and we will not be returning in the future.

Great stay ans the shore of Panama

Very Nice and well located place. I was there for the Florida Ironman and we were few minutes from the main site. Very good condo clean and well equiped. Full Kitchen ans comfortable beds. The pools, Hot tubs, beach access and the view were just perfect. Very close to grocery stores and others...We did not take our cars exept one or 2 times We had a great stays Merci beaucoup

Property maintenance

This was our second time staying at the Shores of Panama. We really enjoyed our stay. I will say that in and around the pool area is in need of some maintenance. There were a couple of decorative columns around the hot tub that was falling apart or had already been taken down. There was several pool tiles that were missing that made the area look neglected. Our overall stay was very nice including our room. I just would like to see a nice place like this do a little better maintenance on the things that the guest see day to day. One last thing, the designated smoking area is to close to the pool area. There was several times where the entrance to the pool area stunk so bad that several of the guest were actually moving because of the smell. The last thing as a guest we wanna smell at the pool while with our families is cigarette smoke. The Shores of Panama could be very sought after if it would take care of small details.

Overall really good.

Loved the room. Loved the view. Loved the pool. Hated the elevators (slooooooow. Like 20 min). Hated the that we couldn't turn the thermostat below 71 (it always felt semi hot).
