While booking, the photos of this property were appealing. What we experienced was not in the photos. However instead of this being a gripe, I will list out the issues we encountered with this property. We were checked in at check in time. The refrigerator freezer was iced in solid not allowing anything in the refrigerator portion to stay cool. I shut the refrigerator off to defrost and called maintenance to report the fridge not cooling. The next morning the fridge was defrosted and turned back on. The maintenance man said it appeared I fixed the issue. My biggest complaint was the mattress. It had a center than sagged down badly and was uncomfortable for a week stay. The ceiling fan above the bed was missing the pull chains for the light and fan. So, we had no light even though the fan was turning. The cabinet door under the kitchen sink on the right was very loose and the wood on the hinge side splintered. The chair in the bedroom area was rickety and not in stable condition. The shower control was loose. It felt as if were about to break turning the shower on and off. The lamp shade on the lamp next to the bed looks fine in daylight but is damaged and the damage visible with the lamp turned on. We had a partial roll of toilet paper to last two adults one week. I asked for toilet paper at the front desk. They said what's in the room is what you get. The convenient elevator right outside our door was out of service two different days. Security in the building was top notch. The view from the Sunrise deck was great. But taking the stairs from the 9th floor to the 15th floor was not enjoyable. These are maintenance issues that should be addressed. We will seek other options for any future stay in Panama City Beach.
