Big Panda likes the beach life with style. In a newly constructed, custom designed spacious Seacrest home a pleasant few steps to Rosemary restaurants and shops, you will find serenity and comfort. 2 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. 2 queen bedrooms with adjoining balcony and shared bathroom. Keep your kiddos happy on the top floor of the house - a gorgeous suite with plenty of room for play and entertainment, featuring built-in bunks which sleep 6 and, of course, their own bathroom.
A welcoming front porch (with ample room to rock and enjoy the twilight or your morning coffee) greets you as you approach Big Panda from the driveway. Enter the light and airy main floor where your family can enjoy time together, lounging on the spacious and chic living room sectional, dining at the comfy and refined rustic table, kitchen round or at the bar. The kitchen (& grill out back) is fully appointed to accommodate you whether an ambitious gourmet or just fixing a quick meal. The open floor plan with vaulted ceilings means whoever is on chef duty can still engage with the rest of the party. Or maybe you are like Big Panda and want to take a night off from cooking, so enjoy the easy stroll to Rosemary restaurants or Seacrest village restaurants, 100 yards from the house. A few details:
All bedroom windows have blackout shades. All living area windows have sun shades. All bedrooms have flat screen smart TVs and remote control ceiling fans as does the living area. The kids floor has a 60" flat screen smart TV and remote control fans. The home offers wifi and cable TV. Enjoy a spacious driveway which fits 2 large SUVs comfortably and available street parking (the benefits of a corner lot on a closed road outlet). Big Panda is at the most southeastern corner of the Seacrest Beach neighborhood bordering Rosemary. This is a Seacrest property which means you have access to arguably the most beautiful pool on 30A as well as beach access for your entire party. Complimentary tram service to the beach or pool - always helpful with little ones, grandparents, or any lazy pandas, is directly outside the front door. Otherwise walk to the beach 1/3 of a mile away or the pool a few blocks away. Beach chair service and many other amenities are available through vendors. Most services operate March through early November and the majority of Rosemary and Seacrest restaurants are open year round. Big Panda 30A awaits! House had great accommodations for our group..! The bunk room was perfect for the group of kids. we especially appreciated the stand alone full bed separate from the bunk beds for the 17 year old in our group..! Location was perfect.. very easy access to the shops. The tram service was awesome. My only complaint is that the house had no beach essentials. I was hoping for maybe a cooler bag or some beach toys, being that it is a beach community. Hate buying that stuff just to leave it behind for us that flew in. I did ask for beach towels, which were dropped off. We appreciated that. Our host was quick to communicate. Also would have been helpful if there was a bottle of clorox wipes or some spray for quick cleanups.

Best Bachelorette Trip

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. We wanted something relaxing and low-key, and this house was exactly that—beautiful, spotless, and super spacious for our group. The location was ideal: walkable to cute restaurants, and the tram picked us up right in front of the house and took us straight to the beach. It was so easy to get around the whole area.The host was amazing—so easy to communicate with and really flexible with our arrival and departure times. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back for a real vacation. Highly recommend!

Can't wait to go back!

We already miss the beautifully appointed 162 Flip Flop Lane! Lounging in the fabulous hammock rockers on the front porch; working on puzzles on the large coffee table; the easy walk to The Hidden Lantern (a delightful local bookshop!), Amavida (local coffee/tea place), or the other local shops; jumping on the tram at the end of the driveway to head to the beach; cooking dinner and laughing at the large dining table as a family; then showers and crawling into extra comfy beds and sheets to sleep before waking up to do it all over again!A few things that worked well for us/suggestions: - Walmart deliveries were convenient and fast directly to the front porch - We didn't realize there weren't beach towels; pack your own or have them delivered by Amazon or Walmart - a fraction of the price you'll pay in local stores - I cannot overstate how amazing the location is. The sundries shop is a 3 minute walk. Walking to the dining and shopping areas in Rosemary Beach is easy and fast. We drove from our home state but otherwise, would not have needed a car. - LaCo was a restaurant all three generations found something to enjoy. Highly recommend the blackened grilled fish tacos! - The Hidden Lantern has a great selection of books, puzzles, stationery, games, and gifts. - La Crema was fun for an afternoon snack of tapas and chocolate fondue.Sharon was highly responsive and easy to work with - we can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed the house. It was the perfect location. Loved how it was walking distance to pool, beach, restaurants, shops. Beds were comfortable as well. Our only suggestion would be more wine glasses (there were only 2).

Great Thanksgiving week stay!

Big Panda had everything we needed for a great family trip, including cooking a big meal on Thanksgiving Day. Perfect for walking to Rosemary and Alys Beach for all the holiday fun as well. Spacious and comfy.

Seacrest vibes

We had a full house and our family enjoyed the house and location in Seacrest beach. The pool is excellent, and the beach is great - the neighborhood tram stop right outside the house made getting around easy The owner responded promptly and remediated some pests (hornets) that had just started building nests around the back porch! Everyone was comfortable in their respective rooms and the whole house was cool and comfy with the 110 degree heat index all week

Family Trip

Location was great. Bed and bathrooms were as noted. A few big let downs...First of all all front and back doors need to be replace!! I mean if there is a note saying not to open certain doors along with the fact you have to slam each door to get it to close something needs to be done. And a note on a door basically saying if you break it it's your fault, come on, especially when the door is broken already. The window sill above the kitchen sink was dirty. And the ledge below the window on the steps going upstairs was very dusty, I bet it hadn't been wiped in months. The ceiling fans also have no remotes anymore. So you aren't able to adjust the speed. There was only a very small broom and no vacum. Big deal with all the sand. However, when dishwasher was replaced we mentioned it to the property manager and she gave us a vacuum on the spot! Lastly, the chairs in the bunk room were not there. To end on a positive note the dishwasher broke and was replaced in about 24 hrs. The communication with the owner and the propery manager was very prompt.

one word: Incredible!!

Hi, my name is Isaac. I'm 9 years old and was staying here with cousins/family. We stayed here for a week. Ok, enough talking let's get talking about how good it was! First of: the pool was amazing. it was insanely big with a lot of chairs ( but when its really busy you can't really find a spot unless you are lucky.) Next, the house was really big. Me, my cousin, my other cousin and my sister slept on the top floor while the adults and my 3 year old cousin slept with the adults. One of the best parts about the house is that the tram has a stop right in front of the house!! I would talk more about how cool this house is, but i would also like you to experience the big panda. Have a wonderful trip in seacrest beach and have a safe trip back!!

We had a great family vacation at this home. The location is ideal to go to the restaurants and shops, and the pool and beach are easily walkable. Limited room at the beach, but it did not ruin our time there. The tram service picks you up right in the driveway which makes it nice when you’re traveling with kids or grandparents. There are some things about the house that I would like to bring to the owners attention. I noticed from previous reviews dating back a couple years ago that 90% of my suggestions are repeat suggestions from previous guests. We had to call in the cleaning crew to mop the floors because our feet were turning black from walking around the home. A vacuum on the premises would make clean up much easier around the home. The kitchen is updated and has a ton of countertop room- however, the cookware didn’t appear clean prior to arrival and could also use some updating. The back door can’t be opened, and the front door doesn’t shut tightly without working with the handle. A chair on the front porch is on its way out as well. Some minor fixes and cleanliness issues. The house itself is very nice and the location can’t be beat. If these suggestions were taken care of, this would be one of the best houses on 30A.

This house was the perfect size for our group of 10 for a mother-daughter senior trip. It was located in close proximity to everything we needed. The house was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed for our stuff. Communication with the owner was great! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house and great location! But just an FYI..

This house was absolutely gorgeous and a great location, just a minute walk to the shops and there was live music every evening! The tram service was perfect being right outside the front door, and was quick to get to the house. The pool was very nice and a bonus there’s food and daiquiris right there! My only complaints about the house was upon arrival there was a dirty pan in the sink, the refrigerator smelt a little funky and you can’t go out the back door to get to the grill. Other than that the house was great!! And the owner was quick to respond. But just an FYI as far as the beach goes there are quite a few stairs to get the beach and wagons aren’t allowed and neither are beach tents, umbrellas only. Which was pretty tough since we had 2 babies. We ended up just driving to Inlet Beach, which was only a 7 minute drive. There you can load up your wagon a pop up your tent! We truly had a wonderful time!

Beautiful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Big Panda, and hope to stay here again soon! We loved the house, the amenities of the neighborhood, and the walkable distance to restaurants, shops and bars. The house was very clean and perfectly decorated; kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook any meal. Owners were very easy to get in touch with if you had any questions or concerns. Just a couple of housekeeping notes for the owner: a chair on the front porch is broken and needs to be replaced. The back door does not lock and needs a locksmith to secure it into place for safety of the house and its occupants. Otherwise, a perfect stay. Thank you!

Family Vacation

Big Panda is in the best location of any of the houses we've stayed in Seacrest; close to shops, beach, pool and a tram stop is right in front of the house. Third floor bunk room was awesome. Front porch was a major plus.
