Our beach front contemporary style condo on ground floor with amazing Gulf view. You can see the beach from the living room, dining area, & guest bedroom. Living room seating for 4 with a sleeper sofa & an arm chair. Living room entertainment includes a large flat screen TV. Seating for 2 at the back porch area with a high top table over seeing the rear courtyard, sea wall, sea oats, & beach. Seating for 4 at the dining table with view of the living room. Room for 4 more at the breakfast bar with stools.
Our all stainless steel appliance kitchen is fully stocked with ice maker, cooking, & eating utensils... The kitchen is ready to take on your families favorite meals.
The master bedroom that has a king bed, big flat screen TV on the dresser, & a remodeled master bath. The master bathroom has a new shower/tub combo, new sink, & new toilet.
The guest bedroom has a queen bed & a full sized bed, big flat screen TV on the dresser, & a remodeled master bath. The guest bath has new shower/tub combo, new sink, & new toilet.
In the hall by the entrance there is a closet containing a stacked washer & dryer. New ceiling fans throughout the condo. Ready for a vacationing family.

Sugar Beach is one of the areas exclusive family-oriented beach side complex on the world famous Thomas Drive. No long lines waiting for elevators, walk right up to your front door, just minutes from parking to getting settled in for your stay. On-site there is a freshwater lake. Also there are two tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball & grilling area along with the large beach side pool.

The huge clubhouse has a large oceanfront sundeck to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the ocean view where you may watch a few dolphins swimming by. The clubhouse is filled with a Ping-Pong table, 2 pool tables and many arcade games for young guests. The grounds have large grassy areas and walk ways which provide a nice change from the typical concrete and steel development.

Parking Registration:
Building has online registration for $35 per vehicle until June, then $37.
Trailer parking registration is $100 per space, if trailer takes up two spaces it would be $200. In addition ALL trailers must be approved by the Sugar Beach office prior to arrival.
These parking registration fees are not added into the cost of the reservation.

Information about our stay was well communicated by the host. We had a great time and enjoyed the easy access to the beach directly from the property. The beds were comfortable and both the living area and kitchen worked great for our visit.

Overall the condo was very clean! It is also very old, the living and patio furniture is very worn and dirty. The faucet knob in the master bath needs to be replaced, it's moldy and dirty (it's impossible for the cleaning crew to clean). The electrical outlets are so old and worn items won't stay plugged in. It's also not in a great location with a gentlemen's club across the street.

Very clean and easy check-in . Loved the beach and pool access. This is an older complex, so the unit could use some cosmetic upgrades (paint, fixtures, outlets). The furniture is worn and there’s not enough comfortable seating for 4. Overall, though, the access and cleanliness trumped everything else.

The condo is an older one but it is updated. The rooms are roomy and the layout is nice, not just a rectangle as many condos are. The location is great! It is literally just steps away from the nice, clean pool. It is also just steps away from the entrance to the beach. The condos are in a gated area which is nice. It is a nice setting inside the green space of the condos. There is a nice pond, a pool, tennis courts and lots of green well kept grass for any pets you may have. We enjoyed the area and would likely come back. For the cons: we couldn’t enjoy the outside seating by the sliding glass doors because of the many love bugs, biting flies and dragonflies everywhere. That is no fault of the owners however. Just made it miserable. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the chair and couch. I was happy that I had brought a blanket with me to put over the couch to sit on. Also, the ceiling in the master bedroom needs to be cleaned. It is very dirty especially on the side by the outside wall. The bed in the master bedroom is not comfortable at all. It has no padding and literally any movement on it sounded as if you were hearing the vertebrae in your back popping. It was only me and my husband staying there but we did not sleep well the first night because of the bed. The next nights we moved to the other bedroom hoping for better nights. Those beds were not much better. They were the extreme, just foam. They need to get better mattresses.

Absolutely loved this unit! We will definitely stay here again. It was clean, spacious and very close to the ocean. The free passes were a nice bonus! The staff around the facility were all very nice and helpful. The condo is close to all kinds of things. Perfectly located. We will be back.

We booked because we had the ground floor which would have been great for my aging parents except that we had to walk down 2 flight of steps to get to the ground floor. Our condo was dated. There were holes in the wall where a picture used to hang but no picture in the living room. We had an ample amount of towels but the bathrooms were very small. The unit was decorated fairly well but had no rugs at all which made it feel cheap We liked how close it was to the beach and the pool. I am writing this after my stay and unfortunately do not have photos.

Impressed with the room. Not impressed with accessibility for wheelchair or physically compromised. The pool is nice & being on the beach added to the experience. I love animals but I would suggestion that the stray cats be captured and get the care they deserve.

Nice unit in a quaint condo community

This unit was clean, which made us all very happy. The only issue we had was the listing stated that there was a hot tub and there wasn’t one on the property. My husband was very disappointed that it was listed incorrectly. The first floor unit was fantastic because we brought our small dog, small grass area right outside the door for quick potty trips. The downside to the pet friendly part is that the condo association charges an additional 150.00 for a pet, that is on top of the 75.00 for a pet that the condo itself charges. I think the extra 150 is a tad high and really sticks it to short term renters. Non the less we paid it and it was a great place to walk our little fur guy around the complex. The unit itself is definitely stocked to be a rental. No fluff or extra items around the condo itself. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were fine. Towels and such were typical inexpensive hotel towels. The kitchen items were modest but useful, we actually didn’t cook, just used the microwave and the oven once for a pizza. The furniture in the living room is a bit worn but other wise comfy. The pool area was very nice, looked like it had been recently redone. Nice clubhouse with ping pong. Beach and pool access is so close to this unit, making it very nice to quickly go into the condo for a drink or restroom visit. Beach is very nice, chairs and umbrella rental right outside of the gate. Entire community is gated and secure.

The description was misleading and not good for someone who is disabled and not able to use stairs. The closest parking was 13 stairs away, the beach 7 stairs. Beach front -sort of- but no beach view due to sand dune and sea oates. Only floors above the ground floor have beach view. There is not an ice maker as advertised. Kitchen sink faucet, toilet, back patio door - some of the things not working as they should. Pool in the evening was crowded with loud inappropriate music. These issues did not ruin the vacation but made it difficult to enjoy. Detailed list of issues sent to management so hopefully it will be better for next renters and wording in description corrected.

Step out to the beach

The condo bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the showers was strong. The kitchen had a large island. great for food preparations. A few more eating utensils could be added and another chair or sofa for adult seating to watch TV.The BEST part it is only a few steps to the beautiful white sand beach! Beach rental employees were great too!

This condo was great for our family. Just a few steps from the beach, pool, and clubhouse. However, we never received any coupons or options for free golf as advertised. But overall, we had a good stay for spring break.

Great location. Responsive property management.

I had a fine stay in this unit. It wasn’t perfect but the property management folks were responsive and eager to make things right. I’d stay again. The upholstered furniture needs cleaning. Not a great choice of fabrics for a beach rental. The unit needs some touch ups here and there. I’d recommend this place to friends and family. Parking is wonderful. The location is fantastic. You really are just a few steps to the beach. Paradise.

Weekend getaway

Property was under a lot of construction (remodeling). That in itself wasnt an issue but there was a LOT of building debri. Right out the dlfeont door was wet concrete, a broom head, catdboard, LOOSE nails and other debri. On the back (beach side) there were cutters, raili g, and home decor laying around. Ferral cats roamed the property- not a big deal except some of the cushions on the patio wrre covered in cat hair. Parking was $10 more than listed. Inside wasnt bad but somethings could have been better upkept- mold on shower curtains, dust, ect. Dish washer took 3 attempts to get dishes clean. TVs, fridge, washer, dryer were all great! Loved the location. The pool and beach access were super convenient. The pool house and pool were very well maintained. The condo was decorated cute and had everything it said it would. If itbhadnt been for the construction debri, i would have rated a 5star, I think it just set a bad firat impression.

Couldn't be more pleased with this property, pardon their mess as they are going through renovations but that did not affect our trip at all. We were extremely pleased with the location, the actual condo, the management staff everything was just right and we will definitely be returning.

Great place and location

This place is fantastic. It’s in a great location away from all the traffic. Walking distance from fuel station and food restaurants and store. Just several steps to the pool and beach access. Kitchen has everything. Just bring extra stuff you need like instructions said. Gate code was different from what was listed. So be sure to confirm that before arriving. Definitely will stay at this location again
