bijzondere vriendelijke mensen op het eiland, je kunt overal komen , lopend, fietsend en het busstation gelijk ernaast, wij hebben veel lopend gedaan en een heleboel gezien. de temperatuur voelt 2 graden warmer aan dan het aangeeft, dus een goed vakantie temperatuur.

This is not what I would consider a 4 star luxury boutique hotel. For me it’s more like a 3 star hotel. The public rooms are lovely and this is what I think draws a lot of people in. It’s basically set dressing. Yes the building is old but the hotel really needs modernisation like AC and redecorating. The room we were given was in a different part of the hotel which was a bit of a walk to get too. Whilst the size was ok, it looked out over a stairwell and other guest rooms looked down into ours. The biggest issue was that it was not dark enough at night and part of this issue was down to the curtains. They barely fitted the window and in my eyes this shouldn’t happen in a luxury hotel. After 1 night we complained and were moved to a new room which was at the font of the property. Whilst the room was better, it was noisy due to staff vacuuming at midnight. Breakfast was ok but it was frustrating having to ask for things like oat milk which should just be available. The pool was a bonus but it’s in need of maintenance and there are a limited number of sun loungers. The slabs on the steps are a bit wobbly and it nearly caught my husband out a couple of times. However having towels available was useful.
