'Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...

'The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night.'
