'We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...

'Great family vacation spot. Marina and pool were highlights. Extra payment for boats and jet skis, but paddle boat, water bike, and a few other items were free for anyone to play at marina. Be safe as its your responsibility if tip over. Nice mini golf setup, but a little hard to find. Try and find times when weather isnt issue, as will shutdown pool and marina in lightning tstorms.'
