« I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting. »

« Warm welcome, beautiful & comfortable room with excellent bathroom & facilities. Dinner choice was very tempting, choice of beers & gins extensive and very welcome at end of a long days drive. All 3 ladies who looked after us were delightful and following a very peaceful & comfortable night we were pleased to see a very cheerful Naomi again at Breakfast. What a very hardworking team. »

« The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. « I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. »

« Great stay for two night break on the coast to Coast trail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Friday nights are very loud with karaoke so be prepared! Food was good, but basic pub food. Breakfast had several choices and the avocado and poached egg was especially good. There's an awesome Indian restaurant called the mango tree just a few buildings down.
