« Exceeded expectation!!!!!! This place so peaceful, quiet, nice little nook in the cranny. Friendly staff. Had issue with air conditioner and they came right away to fix the issue. Other guest very friendly. will stay again. If you need a break from reality this is the place to be. »

« We were rained-out of a long planned camping trip and, luckily, found this at the last minute. The Rococo room is beautiful and very clean, and the deck with BBQ is quite useful. It is spacious and bright. The grounds are fun to walk around. Seeing the different areas is really interesting. I especially liked the yacht floating in the pond. Overall this was a great stay! »

« One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out. »

« We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. »

« It was a little bit difficult to find at first but we're happy once we found it and got in. This is a fun little place to explore and a quick drive into Ruckersville and not a super long commute to Chatlottesville. This was a great little get away! »

« The quietness property was a great way to relax after long days of driving and hiking in Shenandoah National Park. The property is located near the middle park entrance it so was a convenient midpoint location for my 2-day visit to the Park.Check-in was easy and staff around property were very helpful. « Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking! »

« Everything was perfect for a place to rest and relax after being in Charlottesville. The space was super clean, beautifully decorated and smelled great, the bed was very comfortable. Great shower, so many thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Excellent value and great communication with the host! »

« My wife and I stayed here for a week. It was near family and I had an online training class. The White Lotus was perfect for us. The grounds are beautiful, the host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the Zen vibe and the amenities available, although we didn't use many of them this time. We will be back. »

« Overall, the stay was enjoyable! The Hobbit House is very unique and quite cozy. It is close to a few different lovely wineries and not too far from some hiking trails. The bed in the house was VERY comfortable. Also, the stray cats and dogs that visited around the house were cute and an unexpected treat. The house is somewhat in the woods so there were some harmless critters that visited as well. I would definitely stay here again! »
