'Excellent overnight stay, lovely helpful staff (especially when we accidently locked ourselves out in the night). Did have an issue with the cleaner coming in despite paying extra for a late check out but this was apologised for sinse rally and even given another hour to get ourselves ready. Will be back next time I'm in Sheffield, for sure!'

'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet. " Terrible stay. Upon arrival we had to wait to check in. No greeting, no explanation, just a key handed over by an unfriendly receptionist. Absolutely no sense of hospitality. The room was far from clean: stained bedding, mold in the bathroom, and a damaged wall. The phone didn’t even work, which meant I had to go to reception in the middle of the night when my friend became sick. The staff showed no empathy at all, even laughed at the situation, and said cleaning could only be done the next day. When it finally happened, it was careless and far below any acceptable standard. The spa was completely unusable due to the overwhelming smell of mold. Unhealthy and unsafe for guests. Staff were unfriendly throughout no explanations, no assistance, no interest. At check-out, not even a “How was your stay?” just taking the key and saying “bye.” This property claims to be pet-friendly, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it even for pets. It was dirty, unhealthy, and completely disrespectful to paying guests. In short: this hotel is a disgrace. We demand a partial refund and strongly advise others not to book here. "
