Very outdated hotel. The swimming pool was great, the breakfast was great....unfortunately Airco system in the room from the 70’s, tv that doesn’t properly working, the phone wasn’t working,the toilet was from the 70’s(doesn’t flush properly) the toiletries are absolutely not from a 5star hotel. The bathroom really needs a renovation...actually the whole hotel does!! The first 5 star hotel I’ve been that dont have Soy cappuccino...and in this holiday I’ve been in 6 different 5 star hotel. I would say this hotel is a 4 star hotel definitely not a 5star. Except of the staffs...they were the best!

Still the most impressive hotel in Nusa Dua
Third time in Ayodya; all is even better. New infiniti pool, new chairs, several happy hours. Also the beach is much cleaner. Its really a great resort with mixed nationalities and nice atmosphere. Views over lagune are stunning; but most impressive is the entrance, even a must see if you,re not a guest. Spacious room, all with huge terrace. Will go back again for sure

Dirty grounds near the beach and pool areas, staff spoke minimal English although they were all very pleasant but somewhat hard to communicate with when asking questions. The location and buildings on the property are very beautiful and hold rich Bali heritage and culture which is the highlight of this hotel.

The service was excellent, efficient and friendly, and the room was well appointed and well supplied, as always. Unfortunately the food facilities were not up to par. There is a Japanese restaurant that we did not try, and an Indian restaurant, Ganesha, that was very good, but the Waterfall restaurant, while serving a superb breakfast buffet, allegedly provides international food for lunch and dinner, but there is no such thing, nothing international, it offers only a very limited Indonesian food menu, a la carte and buffet. Not even a simple spaghetti, steak or hamburger! There was an Italian restaurant before, but no longer. We love the Ayodya, have stayed there many times and intend to return, but the food choices desperately need improvement.

This is a great upper budget level hotel, the hotel itself is older you can see it specifically in the bedrooms that are dated and are in need of a refurb - but they were comfy and clean enough! Also they provide you ample bottled water, and bathroom goodies (shampoo, toothpaste etc) The pools and lounge furniture is brilliant, lots of options! Loved the breakfast buffet and its nice that they have lots of activities, Squash, pool, and table tennis to name a few. We had dinner there the first night, and it was fine but the drinks were quite watered down (cocktails) - after that we went down to the Bali Collection (14 min walk) and had dinner at the restaurants over there. There is ongoing maintenance but it didn't bother us, I think it shows they're trying to slowly start upgrading everything :).

Rooms were not in good conditions. Specially bathroom. Very congested. Lobby had so many ants and inside the room. We also noticed, if you book directly through Ayodya Resort website, you get a better room and AC lifts. If you book through Agents website for example Expedia. You will get a room in not well established area. Lifts would be without AC and most of time won't work. Same menu in Buffet every day...Not happy

The hotel is very large and in a great spot for what we needed away from the hussle of busier areas like Legion & Kuta. The Nusa Dua area is so clean, people are not pushy and amazing beach. The gardens are relaxing with cheeky squirrels and monitors. The only negative was the main pool bar was very slow or forgot our orders. Was also hard to get their attention as didn't wander to see if anyone wanted a drink. The hotel room was a little outdated with some peeling paint,rust etc but still a lovely room. Will visit again.

This was a beautiful, serene and comfortable place to stay. It's an okay property, it is a traditional Balinese style resort, so don't expect new modern styling, having said that, the resort is still good. It's beach facing, there are two pools, one inside the property and another infinity pool next to the beach bar and beach. Plenty of day beds and sun loungers, happy hour cocktails. Our room had problem, so they upgraded us to yheor club resort (Ayodya Palace) so that was good. Staff is amazing and very helpful all throughout the resort

Loved the character of the property, felt cultural and being surrounded by the tropical gardens and wildlife was wonderful and made me feel relaxed. The service at the beach wasn’t very good. Seemed the staff would reluctantly take your order once told by someone to do so otherwise they would walk right past you. Also on a daily basis they would run out of options on the menu, I.e chips/fries, toasted cheese and ham sandwicheds and even Ice cream. Staff didn’t seem to bothered or apologetic.

My stay at Ayodya Bali Resort was a blend of good and underwhelming experiences. Accommodation: The rooms felt outdated with worn furnishings and broken cupboards, detracting from the overall comfort. The lighting, both indoors and outdoors, was disappointingly dull, failing to add the desired ambiance. Service Response: A significant issue was the staff’s responsiveness. Getting assistance for in-room dining or general inquiries often required multiple calls or physically visiting the reception, which was inconvenient. Positive Aspects - Resort Activities: On a positive note, the resort excelled in family-oriented activities. The kids’ camp was engaging, and the events near the reception were enjoyable, adding to the holiday spirit. Conclusion: While Ayodya Bali Resort shines in family activities, it falls short in room maintenance and service efficiency. If prioritizing activities and family amenities, it’s a viable option. However, for those valuing room quality and service, exploring other options might be advisable. The resort could significantly improve with attention to these areas.
