'I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process'

'First impression on arrival, front of house could do with some maintenance (weeding). Suite 5*Tap in bathroom had soap marks and hair shavings. Pillows were too hard and mattress was uncomfortable, could feel the springs with every movement we made. Website said city view, but this wasn’t the case,(disappointed). On a positive note, service was good overall. Would stay there again if mattress was more comfy.'

'The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. 'Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.'

'Filty from the entrance to the kitchen and toilet. I coukd not have a shower or use the kitchen. The room is fine. The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back. '

'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed. Breakfast service was great. Good value for the price we payed. '
