Motels in Northwest Chicago

'I stayed two nights. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Pillows were flat, but stacking them helped. Shower was clean and the water was nice and hot. All amenities in the room were clean and worked as well. I saw a few makeup spots on the bathroom wall, the door had a handprint. I came from California and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Chicago.'

'VILE AND DISGUSTING!!!! genuinely the nastiest sess pool of an accommodation you could imagine. There were piss handprints on the walls, as well as dead roach smeared on wall. Doors did not lock well and room had mold on lampshades which is a health hazard. Immediately regretted booking upon seeing it and had to find another hotel. Unsafe area also. '

'I needed this motel room so that I could go to Chicago for business, but for somewhere to sleep at night and spend part of my morning, this place did the trick. I did not have an issue with my room at all and the staff was willing to answer whatever question I had.'

'The stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The pictures online were misleading, and the actual room looked nothing like what was advertised. There was no privacy at all — the room had only thin blinds with no curtains, and anyone outside could easily see in. The layout felt unsafe, more like a roadside motel with doors opening directly to the parking lot. 'We were looking for an affordable place to stay in the area. We were visiting relatives over Labour Day weekend. Although the bed in #224 was somewhat sqeeky ( and small in size), we slept ok. We were AMAZED that the hotel provided free coffee and ice. There is a microwave available and even a printer. The staff is efficient and friendly. In short : comfortable for a low-budget traveller. 'Rooms need upgrading. Water hardly flows; extremely rusty; hot water not really hot. Outdoor check-in (in weather). Electric plugs outdated two-prong models and do not accept modern electric plugs'
