'We had a fantastic view and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. Our drinks order got lost but the restaurant manager sorted things out pretty quickly, apologised, and made amends with an adjusted bill - much appreciated.'

'This is a renamed Best Western and definitely not at the level of a Ibis Styles. More like a 80s motel, needs some serious work, would not give more than 2 star. Only good thing is the location, close to the beach. Better stay elsewhere, value for money is not good. '

I was surprised that it actually wasn’t very noisy given the proximity to the highway. I appreciated that I was able to check in after 5 and the 11am checkout was nice too. 'Enjoyable stay. Lovely room with expansive view of the river. Limited options for an early breakfast. I suggest self catering. Only downside is the policy that people can smoke on their balconies. We suffered from second hand smoke from a nearby balcony. '
