'It was quiet and cozy. The owners were kind when I spoke with them. As was made clear there isn't AC so it did get a little warm over night in the room, but a few minutes with the door open cooled down quick. I would recommend a fan. However, would stay again.'

The location was also perfect for exploring the area! A quick drive to the redwoods, nearby restaurants, beautiful beaches, and some incredible views. The hosts were wonderful, very communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. It was such a great little home base for our redwoods trip, and we would absolutely stay here...

'We had a lovely stay at the apartment a few weeks ago. It was quiet and the views of the ocean were great.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Instructions on how to use the induction cooktop would have been appreciated.The location was excellent and the private parking space was a bonus.t'

'Clean, quiet, and very private retreat in nice neighborhood, just a short distance from downtown Arcata, shops and restaurants. It was perfect as a base to explore the area from Eureka to Trinidad, with lots of opportunities to hike in the redwoods, birdwatch at the famous Arcata Marsh, and stroll/tidepool at the many beaches.'

'Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!'

'Room was basic but had everything we expected, including free Wi Fi that worked fine. The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. Considering the price, it's a solid choice if you need somewhere for the night.'
