'Wonderful accommodation in an unbelievably beautiful and serene setting. Woke up to a view of rolling green pastures and grazing sheep. Very clean, comfortable beds, high-end shower with spa towels. We stayed with one other couple and it was a storage challenge with all of our luggage, but to be expected in a glamping situation. 'leuke accommodatie en ervaring. Zal iedereen een genoegen doen dit eens mee te maken. Doucheruimte nogal basic. In directe omgeving niet zoveel te doen. Ontbijtgelegenheid op 4 km afstand, maar pas na 09:30 uur open.'

'The pod is just as described and has everything you need for a few days away. Shared kitchen and shower / bathroom facilities on site. Basic but clean and easily accessible. Helena was lovely, she even brought me some hot water bottles as the first night was stormy. Great communication and quick to respond. Easy check in. The location is simply beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. Perfect short getaway for me and my 2 dogs. I would definitely recommend and return.'

'It is exactly what it says it is being on a dairy farm but I didnt realize we would be sleeping 20 feet away from the barn that has cows so there was quite an aroma and the cows were noisy. We found several spiders along with a giant slug on the wall the last night so we were looking forward to get out of there. We stayed here since it was the cheapest and most northern place to the rail line going up to the Open but would have booked elsewhere '

'We LOVED staying at Shepherd’s Rest! Mary was so helpful and hospitable. She made sure that we were comfortable and had all the information needed for our stay and our activities in the area. The hut itself was very clean and comfortably accommodated 4 of us. The property and surrounding area is beautiful- photos do not do it justice. We highly recommend staying in this lovely, unique spot! '
