So relaxing being right in the water watching boats go by along with birds and ducks and seeing fish jumping in the water.Other people on the property were very friendly and welcoming. Note that bedroom tends to be light at night as there is a lamppost right outside-a room darkening curtains or blinds would be helpful. Also beware of potholes coming into the property. Looking forward to being able to go again. »

« What a wonderful retreat! The hosts are warm and wonderful. The beds are very comfortable and you really can't beat the hot tub and water slide. Live music on the weekends in the summer is a blast, and its fun to watch the boats go by in the river on their way to the lake. The boat is docked in a working marina, with a lot of boat traffic, so that's just something to keep in mind. But my family had a blast sliding off into the river and living the boat life :) Highly recommend and we can't wait...

« Beautiful views from the back deck but limited comfortable seating outside to sit and enjoy. Posting indicated "on the beach" with towels and loungers provided. The beach is a 15 minute drive away and only one chair was available and no beach towels. I contacted the host who apologized for the lack of towels and made plans to have them delivered but were not available during our stay. The host also mentioned the posting for beach towels and loungers was an error and will be updated. Also...
