This extra large brownstone is in the heart of Park Slope. 3000 square feet over 2 floors, this unique converted clubhouse has tons of room for fun. And yes, that is a pool table. It is not usually for rent so take the chance to stay at this cool family home all summer.

With the subway on the corner, restaurants on every street, and Prospect Park two blocks away, the location is perfect. Stay cool on hot summer days or jump into all Park Slope has to offer, this home a fantastic landing pad. This brownstone is close to twice the size of a typical building in the area. Enjoy high ceilings and unique original features, such as decorative metal walls, a vintage pay phone, oak wood lines walls, and art deco fireplaces.

You will enter the home and go up one flight of stairs to the massive living area. The space was renovated in 2022 with all new bathrooms and kitchen. There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the first floor and two more bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, various tools, and large island. The living room has a pool table, couch that fits the whole family, and books/toys for the kids (and adults!). There is a large bedroom facing the street with plants, natural light, exposed brick, fireplace, and an original ornate lighting fixture. There is also a desk with monitor and a large wall mounted TV.

On the top floor is the kids room, bathroom with a shower, and a massive main bedroom lovingly called the “oak room” for its dark wood lined walls. The clubhouse details remain in this room with wall hooks for top hats and coats as well as gas lamp lighting fixture. The craftsman style fireplace is also a stand out in this space. The bed is a California king. There is also a couch, an extra large TV, a height adjustable desk, and half bath in this room.

You will also have access to the outdoor patio where you can people watch, sip some wine, or sunbathe from a vintage wrought iron table. There are pots growing beautiful flowers and a young Japanese maple tree.

Please note: my family is living here currently so you will see many personal items in the photos that will be stored away before the rental period begins. The main bedroom is arranged to accommodate my infant son but the crib can be moved into the kids room and made into a toddler bed as requested.
